The offensive and defensive lines are the focal points of game plans and are needed desperately to get the much needed yards in crunch time. Lets take a look at the big fellas in Arkansas who deserve some credit.
Rashead Staton
Rashead Staton
C/O 2024
Jonesboro, Arkansas
Staton is very comfortable has a pull guard and shows good form in luring in defenders to get good positioning rather than chasing after the quicker second level backers. His feet never settle while engaged and is consistently pushing forward, definitely plays to pancake every play. There is also good pursuit on second level, often times third level, blocks. Staton shows the aggresive mindset and IQ to successfully block quicker, more agile players.
C/O 2024
Southside, Arkansas
Wallis is a versatile, team-first orientated player. He will accept any role and succeeds regards the position because of his internal drive to be great and his physicality that speaks volumes on his tapes. This guy is a scrappy offensive lineman who operates in a Gun-T setup with multiple pulls and exhibits great quickness. On the defensive line Wallis is an absolute menace. He operates with multiple techniques in his arsenal to create havoc and confusion for his counterparts to set successful blocks on him. It’ll be hard to find a more physical player on either side of the ball.
C/O 2025
Arkadelphia, Arkansas
Wimberly shows great patience and reading skills in rushing the QB, he also hands the intelligence to put himself in position to deflect passes often. He has developed a next level swim move that he has grown accustomed to setting offensive lineman up with and finds success with it often. His lateral quickness is rather impressive to cut off ball carriers at the line of scrimmage.
C/O 2026
Stamps, Arkansas
Miller (390 squat and 255 bench) has an incredibly developed form of physicality for a sophomore. Oftentimes, Miller is able to set the tone looking to throw his older counter parts off their guard by setting the tone in the trenches. With already present strength, his body will continue to develop making way for a brute of an offensive lineman.
Highlights
Keegan Sanderson
Keegan Sanderson
C/O 2026
Salem, Arkansas
Only a freshman but has already developed a solid repertoire of moves to attack with. Sanderson exhibits aggressive closing speed on the ball and makes a point to be physical with his tackling. He still has the ability to disrupt plays without sacking the QB, he works and takes positions to tip passes. Definitely alpha material here in the future.
C/O 2026
Nashville, Arkansas
This freshman is only going to get quicker and stronger. He already flashes his elite quickness and his active hands, he portrays the abilities of an upperclassmen already. Erby has incredible abilities at reading the snap and having quickness off the line. He has a great knack of blowing plays up in the backfield before they are even developed because of his quickness of wasting offensive line blockers.
