Jaydin Rivers Jaydin Rivers 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Bishop Noll | 2026 State IN – Bishop Noll – QB – 6’2″ 190lbs – 2026
Rivers is a new recruit to the state of Indiana as a whole. Just moving here from Chicago, he’s set to take over at Bishop Noll, and they have to be pretty excited. Not only is he young so they have years to build around him, but for his age, he’s ahead of most guys in a lot of areas. His physical development, just what’s listed, is obvious. Seeing him in person is even more impressive. He’s a thick and nice build with a cannon of an arm. Rivers is also a lefty QB who throws a nice ball. An easy release, no straining, and can extend plays with his legs when things break down. I was a big fan of his ability to take control of the situations being thrown his way. While not every pass is going to be a completion, seeing a guy have the confidence to take shot after shot is a positive sign. He’s aggressive, trusts his arm, and can make some really tight window throws. He was one of the best QBs, in my opinion, in the quick release throws. A guy with his physical tools and 4 years to play Varsity ball, is a good guy to have on your team moving forward, and I imagine this fall is going to be fun for the Warriors.

Tanner Aspeslet Tanner Aspeslet 6'4" | 200 lbs | QB Lawrence North | 2025 State IN – Lawrence North – QB – 6’4″ 205lbs – 2025
Aspeslet is one of the best QBs in the class in my opinion and shows out any time I’ve seen him in person. He’s got the ideal frame and does a good job seeing the field and going through progressions. He’s got a big arm and can easily uncork a deep ball. He had 1 throw yesterday that was just wicked. Right over the top of the back of the defenders head, so close it may have shaved off a few hairs, and the ball landed right into the arms of the receiver in stride 40-yards downfield. A ball on a line that far downfield was easily the best throw of the day. He also made a few throws over the middle, including a deep post where he was able to throw his receiver open by lofting just enough air under it. He was building chemistry with guys on the field and picking up their natural movements and flow of things very easily. His development has been fantastic to this point and should only be gaining more and more traction as time goes on.

Jamison Phillips Jamison Phillips 5'11" | 150 lbs | QB Tippecanoe Valley | 2026 State IN – Tippecanoe Valley – 5’11” 150 – 2026
Phillips came in right away and got some attention during the testing. Turns out, he’s a fantastic athlete. With the fastest 40 and 3-cone for QBs, he left an impression before we got to the throwing session. A 4.84 40-yard dash as a freshman is surely going to get some attention. Then, to play QB, eyes get big. Wait until they find out that he’s got a fantastic arm, and that might be his best trait. He was one of the QBs who came out firing right away and didn’t need much time to get warmed up. An overthrow while warming up in his first 3 throws was the only negative thing I charted. After that, he was dealing during the 1 on 1s. He’s got a good feel for reading defenders and where to put the ball. His touch is what was a thing of beauty when it needed to be. He had a wheel route up the sideline that he dropped into the bucket over the shoulder of the receiver right along the sideline. Coming into yesterday, Phillips was one of the guys I didn’t know anything about. After yesterday, he made it pretty clear that he’s the real deal and could easily be the QB Star of the 2026 class.

Caden Eblin – Chillicothe (OH) – 6’3″ 170lbs – 2024
While I don’t know much about the 2024 QB class in Ohio, I’m very intrigued with Eblin. He’s got all the physical tools and can make just about every throw. When he’s on the field throwing to receivers, he looks absolutely fantastic. His mechanics aren’t perfect, but he’s got much better arm talent than I think he even realizes. He’s the one guy I wanted to talk to that I didn’t get to. Yesterday, he was very quiet. I wasn’t sure why and I was going to ask him. If it was a confidence thing, shyness thing, or was he simply trying to pay as much attention as possible to get as much out of the event as possible? I’m not sure, so that’s the only question I had with him. I wanted to see him be vocal and take over, but even without doing so, he was still good enough to get my attention with the throws he was making. He’s able to make every throw in the book, has solid hips, and isn’t afraid to take a shot in a small window. I loved what I saw on the field when he was slinging it. Last year, he had minimal playing time in Varsity but completed 67% of his throws and tossed 4 TDs. He’s clearly got the talent, so it’ll be what he can do with it this fall when his opportunity comes.
