Defensive Line:
Another standout who was a matchup nightmare for the offensive lineman who were present, my colleague Pat Weider had this to say:
He seemed to show a good burst and explosion off the ball. Schoenhofen also did a nice job in the competition phase of the camp. Schoenhofen is a solid prospect who should have a good chance to play College Football in the future.
Noah Gibbs
Noah Gibbs
If you are not buying stock on Milton Hershey for this fall, you may want to review the tape of all their standouts from the showcase. Noah Gibbs was another one on the defensive line who did nothing but help himself with his outing. The big man showed that once he gets his hands on you, its going to be a long day. This class of 2024 star has tons of potential and can exceed as both a defensive and offensive tackle.
David Montgomery
David Montgomery
We have to talk about Montgomery because this guy is a stud in the making. Whole lot potential with this dude and he displayed that against some of the best lineman in Pennsylvania. Really like his measurables and you may not find a smarter football player in his conference. He keeps progressing this way, no reason to think he cannot play at the next level.
Linebackers:
Emberger could of easily been 1st or 2nd team he had a great showing, love his vision and drive at linebacker. An excerpt on what I wrote after watching him live the day prior: Testing and measurables aside, really thought he held up well during the 1 on 1 drills, especially considering the level of competition he was going up against. Emberger demonstrated impressive hip and footwork covering the running backs, if you are an Archbishop Wood fan, he gives you big time reason to be excited about their future.
As I told you two weeks ago, Leuthe was one of the fastest kids in camp and I meant it. Clocking one of the fastest 40s on the day, this Pennridge rising junior should have the Rams faithful excited for a big fall. His performance at our showcase should only add to his momentum, I expect big things ahead for this young man.

Defensive Backs:
A tough little bull that can run is what I saw watching Penzone live at the showcase. Here is what I said a couple weeks ago:
Standing at 5’7 you might think he would have trouble with his not ideal size, but that could not have been further from the case yesterday. Running a 4.6 40, Penzone can fly and is a physical safety who can deliver some pop.
Highlights
This two way star made plays at both defensive back and receiver at our outing. What won me over was his insistence to come spell all of the corners who were outnumbered by the amount of receivers very handily.
