This group ranged from 1st Team MVPS down to 3rd Team on my All-Camp Team but I can surely say every single one of them will be playing on Saturday in the near future, as I love the huge batch of potential I see within this group for Division I to NAIA suitors and every division of football in between. To make it even better, we have four states represented on our list, which shows exactly why the Midwest is so deep every year nationwide at the offensive linemen position.
Dawson Wood Dawson Wood 6'1" | 250 lbs | OL Spearfish | 2024 State SD , OL, Spearfish (SD) 2024 Twitter
Dawson was one of the most physically imposing centers in the offensive line group at the Prep Redzone Dakotas, even just from the eye test upon walking into Aberdeen. In every rep I got to watch out of this kid, it was certainly easy to see the amount of work ethic he plays with. Dawson showed off a plethora of fluidity in the punches he threw with his hands and when he was able to get an ounce of leverage downhill with his pass-blocking skills, he was able to dominate at the point of attack. Dawson also shows off a good base of finishing technique and I see him showing a good-sized ceiling to get even more consistent with that skillset. This young man has a lot of power and strength in his 6’1 303 pound frame, and looks like a scholarship level offensive line prospect in my eyes.
Rylen Coe Rylen Coe 6'3" | 240 lbs | OL Elkton-Lake Benton | 2025 State SD , OL, Elkton-Lake Benton (SD) 2025 Twitter
Rylen impressed me with how quick he could get his hands right in his defender’s wheelhouse on his reps very early in the reps I caught last Saturday at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase. He also showed off that in the future on tape, he is a offensive line prospect that could multi-engage in run-blocking schemes and one that has some agile movement to advance upfield into the second level. He also did a solid job with his pad-level last Saturday, as I can tell he’s improved already since the 2022 season with the consistency I saw last weekend. Rylen is a 2025 prospect with a signifcantly high ceiling, that I believe has a plethora of potential to grow with his .and drive-blocking ability with some development on his strength in the Elks weight room. At 6’2 230 pounds, there is plenty of frame that a college football program would love to groom in the next couple years in my eyes.
Riley Branson, OL, Bemidji (MN) 2024 Twitter
Riley is one of the more agile offensive linemen on this list and he showed off that off sufficiently last Saturday in rainy Aberdeen at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase. He showed off in Indy drills just how fast he can be with his first step as l got some glimpses of what he showed out of tape in Aberdeen which I love to see when a prospect matches in-person what they show out on tape. I also like the football IQ Riley shows off, as he shows off such a physical punch for his 5’11 232 pound frame that certainly outweighs the measurables he puts out on paper. I also love the leverage Riley can get on the interior as besides an effective pull-blocker, he has the gritty motor you want on your offensive. We always talk about prospects you go outside the measurables for, and Riley certainly fits that narrative with his fiery skillsets.
Gavin Pischke Gavin Pischke 6'3" | OL West Central | 2024 State SD , OL, West Central (SD) 2024 Twitter
Gavin was a offensive line prospect, I had on my second team All-Camp Team for offensive linemen, and he was super close to becoming a 1st-team All-Camp Team from the reps I watched last Saturday in Aberdeen at the Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase. Gavin impressed me with the width in his stance as he showed off matching pad-levels from what I watched on tape last winter as an offensive line prospect that knows how to pack a hefty punch when arriving downhill carving into the second level of the field. Gavin also showed off to be more agile with his footwork in a live-evaluation in my eyes, as he showed off good balance in his feet even in subpar conditions last Saturday from when I watched him in Indy drills. If you watch him in his early reps until the end of the Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase, you could see how quickly this young man can develop in a quick span of time and certainly will have a handful of next-level suitors over the next several months also with having ideal measurables at 6’2 298 pounds for scholarship-level football on Saturdays.
Easton Poppe Easton Poppe 6'6" | 300 lbs | OL Brandon Valley | 2024 State SD , OL, Brandon Valley (SD) 2024 Twitter
Easton is now a two-time Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase alum, and made First-Team honors in our December Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase, and now again last Saturday in Aberdeen. At 6’5 297 pounds, Easton shows off a blasting first step that won reps on Saturday with just how much strength he has within his plethora of skillsets. I even believe that the first step has room to grow even more instinctive with the growing technique he has, with usually a significant size advantage against amongst small defenders as Easton just has the ability to bully them to the turf. Easton picked up his first NSIC offer last weekend from the Wolves, and I would be lying if I didn’t believe this young man is off to a MASSIVE summer ahead on the camp circuit.
Ryland Day, OL, Luxemburg-Casco (WI) 2024 Twitter
Ryland was a first-look Wisconsin offensive line prospect that was likely one of the best new names I tracked last Saturday at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase in Aberdeen amongst the OL group. This young man showed off to be a road-grader with elusive athletic movement within his footwork every time he popped out of his stance. His efficiency as a drive-blocker showed great verses of technique that showed off a plethora of versatility in Aberdeen even with the weather in full effect. Ryland is a guard prospect you can tell plays with a massive motor similar to a truck bursting down the hill. He also showed off catchy hands off his release and with his extended length, shows that he could still get great leverage even when he doesn’t have his full hands on his opponent with his explosive traits. I will second my Wisconsin colleague Mark Johnson that Ryland “will explode” into camp season with the versatility he brings with his light feet at the guard position and has plenty of strength to add in the weight room this summer and beyond at 6’3 250 pounds as he plays way bigger than that.
Anton Kadlec Anton Kadlec 6'3" | 315 lbs | OL Hutchinson | 2024 State MN , OL, Hutchinson (MN) 2024 Twitter
Anton was one offensive linemen prospects on our early list I had circled before last Saturday I was intrigued to watch in person at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase and he certainly lived up to the hype. Even though I have evaluated Anton’s tape recently, he showed even more smooth growing athleticism with the physical punch in his hands down to his mobile footwork, that launched out with one of the best 10-yard splits amongst the offensive line group, which is the only testing number that I put the most stock into with the OL group, as it shows off how quick he could get down to the second level of the field. Anton also has developed since the 2022 season with higher activity in his first steps. He also showed off a well-built stance that could seal off the defenders in 1v1s regardless of what moves they threw his way. A first-team member of my All-Camp Team, I can’t wait to see Anton’s recruiting blow up even more this summer.
Connor Harrison Connor Harrison 6'3" | 265 lbs | OL Lead-Deadwood | 2025 State SD , OL, Lead-Deadwood (SD) 2025 Twitter
Connor is a West River prospect that just keeps getting better and better showcase after showcase I get to watch him. I noticed significantly how much Connor has gotten smoother with utilizing his athleticism in his footwork in his back pedal as well showing off a consistent pad-level at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase in Aberdeen. He is a significantly quick learner too when I watched him from camp start to camp end, as it’s not a question that his football IQ keeps elevating higher and higher. Connor is certainly a prospect that is growing into his body and understanding how to use the tools within it athletically. This young man is one of my biggest early stockrisers in South Dakota’s 2025 class, and I also love the blue-collar work ethic this young man plays with on every rep and has great character as well. With Connor’s significant ceiling I see him as a solid fit at the Division I level in the coming years.
Dallas Hamilton, OL Papillion-La Vista (NE) 2024 Twitter
Last but certainly not least, we take a look at our Prep Redzone Dakotas OL MVP in Papillion-La Vista 2024 offensive linemen Dallas Hamilton. Dallas was one of those early prospects that smashed the eye test in early testing as I loved the fluidity and high motor this young man ran with in his early reps. He also showed one of the best athletic stances I saw amongst the OL group into Indy Drills, and once Dallas got into 1v1 reps, that consistency kept showing off with his strong base, balanced and swift hands and his pad-level was exceptional when it was time for the point of attack rep after rep I got to watch late in the showcase session. Dallas also played in my eyes with the biggest adrenaline rush I saw within the OL group as I was intrigued with this young man’s character last Saturday in Aberdeen as he certainly was a vocal leader from what I could see in the OL group. Dallas has one Division II offer to his resume so far, but man I can’t wait to see what a hot commodity this young man is this summer as he checks all my boxes if I was a college football recruiter.
