Offseason Outlook: Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It was a tough season for the Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes this past season going 2-8 including 1-4 in conference play. The Hurricanes picked up victories over Nativity BM and Panther Valley during the season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Despite the record, they saw solid play out of names such as running backs Aidan Myers, [player_tooltip player_id='940379' first='Niko' last='Carestia'], and [player_tooltip player_id='91657' first='Connor' last='Goehring']. Defensively, Myers was also able to get the job done with 2121 tackles, Carestia as a freshman had 95 including 8.0 tackles for a loss. Losing key members on the offensive line is always tough but "Mr. Do It All" Aidan Myers returns and he's arguably their biggest key to success. With a ton of returning production, I see no reason to believe that this rather young Hurricanes squad couldn't turn it around this upcoming fall and put together a strong season. Head coach Mike Farr is one of the best head coaches in the entire state and is also the head coach of the Big 33 Pennsylvania team.
