As the summer approaches, I wanted to take a deep dive into the NWC and take a look into each team and see how they could compete this upcoming year.

Not very many people thought the Seahawks would be as competitive as they were, but I knew they had enough talent to take that next step. This season won't be any different, as not many of their players are graduating. The biggest name they will have to replace is University of Idaho signee [player_tooltip player_id='583896' first='Hayden' last='John'], who is one of the best defensive backs in the entire conference. [player_tooltip player_id='584101' first='Adriaan' last='Castro'] is a LB who made a lot of plays and gave a lot of insight to the fellow defensive players, he will be a hard player to replace. Garrett Bickley, a soon to be player at Central Washington, will need to be replaced as he anchored the offensive and defensive lines. Averie Sikes is another lineman who they will miss. Good thing for the Seahawks is most of their key play-makers will be returning.

First team all conference quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='643392' first='Rex' last='Larson'] will be back for his senior year and will be ready for another huge season. He is one of the hardest working players I've seen as he is always improving his game. He throws on the run well but is at his best when he can sit in the pocket and throw darts to his targets. NWC MVP [player_tooltip player_id='205682' first='Brock' last='Beaner'] will be back for his junior year after just an outstanding sophomore year. He made plays on both sides of the ball every week and proved to be a top 10 running back in his class within the whole state. He will show even more growth this year. '25 WR/ATH [player_tooltip player_id='693730' first='Brady' last='Beaner'] will be back again and will have an even bigger role with John graduating. 6'5" 305 pound lineman Kyle Leseman will be back and will help lead the blocking on the offensive line and the pass rushing on the defensive end. He was 2nd team all NWC last season and is looking to have an even better season. '24 WR/DB [player_tooltip player_id='449558' first='Landon' last='Schafer'] is another name to keep an eye on, as he's been showing tremendous growth over the off-season.
