Looking Ahead: 6A Preseason 1st & 2nd Team All State Defense

As most know, all state selections are heavily dictated by team success.  If your HS program is winning, you're much more likely to receive this type of recognition. This is NOT a recruitment-based list although many of the top recruits are listed as all state athletes. Have a look at the pre-season 1st & 2nd team all state picks as of right now, along with the leading candidates for 6A POY honors        6A Defensive POY Candidates (#1-3)       1.[player_tooltip player_id='152355' first='AJ' last='Noland'] 6-2 180 S/ATH 24' Tualatin    One of the most versatile athletes in the West. AJ earned 1st team all-conference honors on O, D, and as a return man. His double digit D1 offers speak to his overall ability and what he could do for the T-Wolves this coming season on both sides of the ball.   2.[player_tooltip player_id='527032' first='Mana' last='Tuioti'] 5-11 210 LB 25' Sheldon    The Irish graduate an impressive group which will put a heavy burden on Tuioti's shoulders. He doesn't have his brother's size, but he is a phenomenal overall talent, possessing ability you can't teach. Look for him to personally have an outstanding year.    3.[player_tooltip player_id='152344' first='Hunter' last='Haines'] 6-2 185 S 24' West Linn   It's tough to pick one athlete on the West Linn D from a POY perspective as they are deep everywhere.
