Continue ReadingThe Parkview Patriots always have high expectations. However, expectations are extremely high for the Patriots this upcoming season. Parkview is coming off the first state title since 1978. As always, the talent level at Parkview is extremely impressive. In this article, we are going to highlight a few prospects to keep an eye on this season for the Patriots.
Omarion Robinson Omarion Robinson 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Little Rock Parkview | 2025 State AR -Defensive Back-6’0” 171-Pounds-2025
Over the past two seasons, Omarion Robinson Omarion Robinson 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Little Rock Parkview | 2025 State AR has opened plenty of eyes with his impressive play. Robinson is one of the most versatile players and can play the safety position as well as work effectively on the offensive side of the ball. Looking primarily at the defensive side of the ball, Robinson does an excellent job of making plays on the ball. He has no trouble making tackles and will move up to plug the gap in the running game.
Cameron Settles-Running Back-6’0” 195-Pounds-2025
The Parkview running back is a back that makes quick decisions. He trusts his blockers and does a good job of allowing them to develop blocks before exploding through the hole. Settles gets better as the game progresses, and he looks to punish opposing defenders when he gets tackled. Settles has the potential for a strong 2023 football season. He comes out of the spring with impressive momentum and is a prospect to keep an eye on this season.
Landon Canady Landon Canady 6'2" | 320 lbs | DL Little Rock Parkview | 2025 State AR -Defensive Line-6’2” 300-Pounds-2025
One of the most dynamic defensive linemen in the state of Arkansas occupies a spot on the defensive line for Parkview. Canady is one of the most impressive run stuffers in the state. He uses his power to get into the opposing offensive backfield. Canaday has proven to be a defensive lineman that can rush the passer. He is a versatile lineman that can play the tackle or the edge position. I look for him to be a run stuffing defensive tackle at the next level. Meanwhile, for the next two seasons he is going to continue to cause plenty of problems for opposing offenses in the Natural State.
Chase Forte Chase Forte QB Little Rock Southwest | 2025 State AR -Quarterback-6’1” 195-Pounds-2025
Parkview signal caller Chase Forte Chase Forte QB Little Rock Southwest | 2025 State AR has a strong arm and is not afraid to test the opposing secondary deep. He does a good job of knowing when to escape the pocket. Forte is not afraid to use his legs to pick up yards on the ground. However, Forte keeps his eyes down the field and looks to make the throw before picking up yards on the ground. I look for Forte to have a strong season for the Patriots.
Monterrio Elston-Running Back-5’8” 170-Pounds-2025
The Parkview Patriots have a strong stable of running backs for the upcoming season. Elston does a great job of choosing the right rushing lane. He has the speed to cut the run to the outside and turn a small gain into an explosive one. Elston does an impressive job of catching the ball out of the backfield and is a weapon that can be used in the passing game. He is another prospect to watch out for this upcoming season for the Patriots.
