Under the banners that represents NFL talent to Division III players that have refined their craft at the Linemen Lab with Dale Rodick, players put their best foot forward to further their exposure in front of scouts from Pitt, Rutgers and Toledo to name a few.
Diondre Taylor Diondre Taylor 6’2″ | 260 lbs | DL Benedictine | 2026 State OH has been a name that has been gaining traction of late and Saturday was another opportunity for the freshman to get noticed. Showcasing his speed and flexibility going against a number of different linemen in pass pro, Taylor showed off improved footwork when attacking to get spin moves done in a hurry. Improving on the film from last season, Taylor played with poise as he went to work against different offensive linemen. He was unpredictable when lining up against his man while getting creative with beating his man. Taylor’s been hitting the gym hard and working on his technique and it showed on Saturday.

Highlights
You can’t underestimate the skill and power DeAndre Copeland DeAndre Copeland 6’1″ | 305 lbs | OL Buchtel | 2025 OH has been putting on display. The sophomore used his time on Saturday to once again make a statement as one of the top interior offensive linemen in the 2025 class. His form was insync with his body to control defenders that threw the kitchen sink at him. Copeland was one of the hardest guys to beat all afternoon with his balance keeping defenders in front of him and away from the tackle dummy. Once again he showed his quick hips to control his man with his lateral movement stopping opponents in their tracks. Copeland’s strength once he has his hands on a defender is elite to gain leverage and prevent moves from even happening. His day in front of scouts was just another reason why he belongs as a budding college athlete in the making.
Arguably the strongest player at the showcase was Rocco Courtad Rocco Courtad 6’1″ | 260 lbs | DL Aurora | 2024 State OH . His work in the gym is impressive on a regular basis if you follow his twitter and more importantly it is translating to his game. Courtad is a dangerous concoction of speed and elite power to be a wrecking ball on the defensive line. His quick instinct to attack where a lineman was leaning gave him a day worth talking about. Courtad’s power in the bullrush was textbook as he made several offensive linemen frustrated with his skillset. Enough can’t be said about his first step out of his stance as one of the best in the area to gain an advantage before an offensive linemen knows he’s beat. Courtad is going to make a college program very happy when he makes his college decision.
Jackson Goodspeed
Jackson Goodspeed
Another freshman that caught my eye was Jackson Goodspeed out of Elyria. While he plays on varsity as an offensive and defensive linemen with his good size at 6-4, 290-pounds, Goodspeed took reps in pass pro as an offensive linemen. The first thing you notice about Goodspeed’s game is his anticipation. Whether he was facing off against a speed rusher or a player looking to bully him, Goodspeed got into position quickly and anticipated moves before they happened. The freshman outright won a number of matchups with above average reaction time paired with above average form to keep defenders away. Goodspeed is light on his feet for his size and provides a wide wingspan of coverage from playing the right tackle position. He has a really solid foundation to work off of and does all the little things right to make him successful. Goodspeed is a name to look out for coming up and one worth mentioning as a stud from the showcase.
