The Head Coaches notes are a reference to where each recruit is standing within their recruitment during the 2023 spring evaluation period and heading into 2023 College Summer Camp season. Plymouth South High School is a public school located in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The football program is strong and well coached with former college football players who are now high school coaches. “Coach Fruzzetti” is very active with the recruiting and development of his players, and takes the initiative to promote all his college potential players during the season and off-seasons.
Recruiting Interest: Umass, Coastal Carolina, BC, Virginia Tech, Buffalo, Towson, Merrimack, Sacred Heart, Wagner
Offers: Umass, Coastal Carolina
Head Coach Notes/Analysis: A generational talent and one of the best running backs in the history of Plymouth. Casious has the rare blend of size, power, and vision. His balance allows him to elude most tacklers who try to take him down below the waist. Casious is one of the most charismatic players to come through our program. His personality shines through as a member of the award-winning Panther TV program, where he is a sports anchor. Schools are recruiting Casious as a true “three-down” back who can make contributions to a D1 offense early in his career.
Highlights
Recruiting Interest: Umass, Stonehill, UNH, Bryant, Assumption, Bentley, Wagner

Head Coach Notes/Analysis: Steve is a 6’1 270lb interior lineman who is a tireless worker. He has a low-center of gravity and excels at kick-out and down blocks in a power run scheme. Steve is also great at finishing blocks down field until the whistle. He looks to study business in college and has a 3.1 GPA. Steve will be competing at numerous camps over the summer to improve his stock as he heads into senior year. He is a true football junkie and will do whatever it takes to reach his goal of playing NCAA football.

Recruiting Interest: Holy Cross, RPI, WPI, Stonehill, Wagner, Assumption, Sacred Heart, University of New England

Head Coach Notes/Analysis: Justin is an elite strong safety who is physical and will get down hill in run fits. He is a pure tackler with great form and technique. In the passing game, his athleticism as a hooper shines through in jump balls and jumping intermediate routes. An all-star on the basketball team and a state qualifier as a triple jumper and 4x100m relay member, there isn’t much he can’t do on the football field from an athletic standpoint. Justin is also a stellar student in the classroom and takes honors and AP courses while maintaining a 3.6 GPA. He is coachable, dependable, and exactly the kind of student-athlete you want in your program.
Class of 2026Recruiting Interest: UConn, Umass

Head Coach Notes/Analysis: Gio is an elusive, explosive running back with great vision and hits another gear once in the second level. He is a true home-run hitter when the ball is in his hands and averaged over 11 yards per carry as true freshman last season. On the defensive side of the ball, Gio is a lock down corner with the athleticism to play press man coverage against anyone and the ball skills to high point fade balls versus taller receivers who try to go over the top. He is a year-round football player and his ceiling is as high as any player to come through our system. He will be fielding offers in the near future.
Class of 2026Recruiting Interest: Should pick up with varsity film.

Head Coach Notes/Analysis: Matt is a 6’3 240lb true freshman who gets better with every rep he gets on the football field. He was too big to play as an 8th grader, and as he adjusts to game speed, there is an elite football player in the making. At offensive tackle he is tenacious, has great feet, and is able to get downfield in the screen game. At defensive end, he was borderline unblockable and was able to take away one half of the field in most freshman games. I would not be surprised to see Matt’s stock take off after the BC camp this summer. He could be one of the best offensive linemen our program has seen in a long time.
