Household names such as former No.1 overall NFL draft pick and current Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback, Trevor Lawrence, have made this team and event a special one. The evaluators and coaching staff that put together the Georgia Future Stars do a great job of balancing skill sets and showcasing what the future of football will look like. Here’s a look at the Quarterbacks on this year’s seventh grade (class of 2028) team.
A returner from last year’s sixth-grade Georgia Future Stars, Robinson brings some familiarity to the event for the boys from the Peach State. Listed on the roster at 5-foot-8 and 130 pounds with long legs, that resembles a wide receiver more than a quarterback. Robinson has a ton of athletic ability and as talented a quarterback as he is, he’s possibly an even better baseball player.

Hand brings the prototypical pocket passer style to the seventh-grade Georgia Future Stars team. He’s on the roster at 5-foot-11 and 150 pounds and has some nice zip on the ball. We saw him (and Cannon Robinson Cannon Robinson 6’0″ | 160 lbs | QB GA ) at the PRZ Next Rising Prospect Camp in Georgia this spring and came away excited for his ability. Prior to the PRZ Next Rising Prospect Camp, he had a masterful regular season. Hand helped lead his Bulldog University team to the 12U Division 2 AYF National Championship game.

Rounding out the trio of quarterback’s on this Georgia 7th Grade Future Stars Team is Declan Wood Declan Wood 5'10" | 170 lbs | QB Saint Francis Middle | 2028 GA . Wood is directly out of the 404 (Atlanta) and from what I see on tape, I love the way this kid plays the game of football. I’ve never seen him play live, or even talked to him for that matter, but any time a Quarterback throws a screen pass and then becomes a lead blocker–how can you not love it? Based off strictly his film, it looks like he has a good presence in the pocket and gets the ball out quickly to his weapons. I look forward to getting a closer look at him in June.
