Pennington showcased his impressive arm strength and accuracy down the stretch, and his ability to quickly and consistently adapt despite solid defensive coverage in the endzone. The rising junior out of Lexington, KY. also contributes solid size, speed and extensive game knowledge. Pennington said that his team was really clicking during the tournament as there was great comradery. At the helm of the Spartans' offense last year, Pennington recorded 161 completions out of 255 attempts, collecting 161 completions out of 255 attempts, picking up 1,785 total yards and 25 touchdowns. In addition to solid size, speed and arm strength, Robbins impressed with an accurate passing game despite solid defensive pressure down the stretch and in the endzone. The rising sophomore quarterback out of Murray, KY. was a gamechanging passing weapon for the Lakers during his freshman season last year, recording 122 completions out of 242 attempts, picking up 1,390 total yards and 12 touchdowns. Despite challenging defensive coverage from opposing teams, Irvin was able to adapt and make more than a few significant passing plays, utilizing his cannon to make game-changing passes. The rising sophomore gunslinger out of Louisville, KY. said his goal for the tournament was to stay focused and be consistent offensively. Irvin will definitely be a quarterback prospect to keep an eye on this upcoming season as he will likely make a huge impact under center for the Bruins' offense.
