Playing both sides of the ball, his team was able to reliable on him to carry the rock as a runner, and play all over the field as a defensive back. Rushing for 757 yards and 9 touchdowns, Lex shined for a strong Kinnelon squad. 2023 may bring him to 1000 yards rushing and possibly double digit touchdown as well. Defensively, he brought in 50 total tackles and forced 2 turnovers (1 forced fumble and 1 interception.) Playing multiple roles in Pequannock's defense, you could find him up high at the safety position, or rolled down into a rover/nickelback position. A player with linebacker size for his division, Andrew stands out as one of the taller players in the secondary. He comes downfield hard to stop the runner from getting to the edge, and can cover well too. While only rushing for 281 yards in 2022, he showed strong flashes of talent on the carries he did receive. A quick and nimble running back, Sylas is the type of player that will navigate his way through defenses and fight for every yard. The 2023 season will bring a large role for Sylas as a do it all back. He can catch and run the ball and play his part as a returner as well.
