I covered the annual scrimmage to end the Spring Season and observed some talented players on display. Head Coach Antonio King and staff are generating a positive attitude amongst the players. The players in the review caught my attention throughout the scrimmage.

Class of 2024

[player_tooltip player_id='626921' first='Addison' last='Vondy'] - QB, 6'0" 160 (No. 46 QB, No. 278 Overall). Addison displayed a fluid arm with good ball velocity on his throws. He delivered accurate short-range passes on target to receivers. He has been training in the offseason and I observed an improvement in his skillset. Addison will continue to train during the offseason and participation in Summer Prospect Camps to generate recruiting interest.

[player_tooltip player_id='120038' first='Tyler' last='Clark'] - OL, 6'3" 270 (No. 15 OL, No. 126 Overall). Tyler was quick out of his stance to make contact with defenders, controlling them with good technique to open lanes for running backs. He uses good footwork, quickness, and upper body strength to overpower defenders. He is one of the leaders on the offensive line. Tyler has the talent to play the center position at the D1 level and should already have offers. Tyler is receiving interest from D1 schools and should generate offers during participation in Summer Prospect Camps.

[player_tooltip player_id='637131' first='Matthew' last='McDonald'] - OL, 6'4" 275 (No. 8 OL, No. 38 Overall). Matthew displayed good footwork and technique to control defenders while opening lanes for running backs. He displayed quickness and upper body strength to control defenders. He is one of the leaders on the offensive line. Matthew has received D1 offers, more are coming for him during his high school career. He is preparing to participate in Summer Prospect Camps.

[player_tooltip player_id='841608' first='Ash' last='Boa-Amponsem'] - DB, 6'1" 165 (No. 38 DB, No. 270 Overall). Ash displayed good speed and changed directions quickly to cover receivers. He displayed good use of hands to deflect passes, intercepting often. He is a physical defensive back who plays with aggression. Ash should generate recruiting opportunities during participation in Summer Prospect Camps.

[player_tooltip player_id='841609' first='Corey' last='Winston'] - WR, 6'4" 170 (No. 48 WR, No. 326 Overall). Corey ran good pass routes and separation from defenders to make catches. He displayed good hands while making catches in traffic. He is a big, athletic receiver with good speed to accelerate past defenders in the open field. Corey should generate recruiting opportunities during participation in Summer Prospect Camps.

[player_tooltip player_id='841610' first='Eddie' last='Brown'] - OL, 5'11" 250 (No. 41 OL, No. 306 Overall). Eddie displayed good footwork and technique to control defenders while opening lanes for running backs. He has a low center of gravity and uses upper body strength to control much larger defenders. He has the potential to become one of the top centers in the conference. Eddie should generate recruiting opportunities during participation in Summer Prospect Camps.

Class of 2025

[player_tooltip player_id='380042' first='Amareon' last='Blue'] - RB, 5'8" 170 (No. 1 RB, No. 8 Overall). Amareon followed his blockers and exploded into openings and accelerated past defenders in the open field to gain big yardage. He displayed good vision and balance while running inside for yardage. He had some impressive runs once he broke into the open field, scoring often. Amareon led the state in rushing amongst the 2025 class and is expected to have a big season. He has received a Power5 offer and should already have more offers. Amareon should generate more offers during participation in Summer Prospect Camps.

Class of 2026

[player_tooltip player_id='321266' first='Noah' last='Clark'] - DL, 6'3" 280 (No. 3 DL, No. 46 Overall). Noah displayed good technique and violent hands to control blockers while moving past them for stops. He moves well in tight spaces to shut down inside running plays. He is a combination of quickness and brute strength, which makes it difficult to contain him one-on-one. Noah is receiving interests and camp invites from Power5 schools and participation in Summer Prospect Camps should generate offers for him.

Players to Watch

Class of 2025

[player_tooltip player_id='841718' first='Elijah' last='Bobmanuel'] - OL, 6'2" 250 (No. 27 OL, Watchlist)

[player_tooltip player_id='841719' first='Sadeem' last='Joyner'] - DL, 6'0" 230 (No. 27 DL, Watchlist)
