Alabama Stock Risers

All he knows how to do is make plays. He recorded over 2500 yards on the ground last season with 39 tds. This young man has good speed. He is a balanced runner when he is going between the tackles. He has good vision and patience when he runs. Frost also has good hands out of the backfield. This is a running back/safety you guys want to know. He has a lot of talent.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='132051' first='Anthony' last='Quarles'], LB, 2024, Hillcrest </strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Quarles plays the linebacker position like the old school guys once did. He is a downhill linebacker that loves to be around the football. Quarles is big time hitter who brings the pain when it is time to make a hit. He also reads his keys very well. Quarles recently picked up an offer from Shorter University. At 6-2 220 he has a lot of upside. I'll be paying attention to his progression this off-season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='974922' first='Andrew' last='Alford'], QB, Central, 2025</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Alford played football in Columbus, GA last season. This season he will be lining up at Central High School. This young man is very accurate. Those facts show up in his 71% completing percentage. He threw for over 2500 yards last season. Alford has a strong arm and a quick release. I expect for him to start seeing his stock rise soon. Especially being surrounded by a lot of talent at Central.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Nasir Powell, WR, Jackson, 2024</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Powell is a very tall target who is very selfless on the field. When it is time to block he goes out and gives it his all. Powell also knows how to body his defender. He is a guy that you can just pop the ball to on 3rd and 5 cause you know he will win the matchup. He also has some good speed. The more Powell works on his routes the more he will see his stock rise. A lot of coaches are looking for guys with his size that can move well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
