With the 2026 class finishing up their freshman year, it's time we take a look back at some 2026s that have impressed and tell you why they should be on your radar.

[player_tooltip player_id='682941' first='Walker' last='Kirkland'] - QB - Wesleyan

You couldn't miss this QB prospect if you tried. Kirkland comes in with a towering 6'5 190 frame, and he might not be done growing. The measurables alone are enough to get college coaches excited about Kirkland, but he also shows other traits that are demanding of some looks. He stands tall in the pocket and delivers the ball with poise and confidence. His delivery and release are clean and he puts some nice touch on the ball. I think this guy could crack the national radar as early as this year once things start tying together.

https://twitter.com/WalkerKirkland5/status/1647382902944985090?s=20

[player_tooltip player_id='681180' first='Amari' last='Latimer'] - RB - Sandy Creek

Played a critical role in Sandy Creek's state championship run as a freshman. Even as a young RB, he showed some next-level traits and showed flashes of being a dominant runner at this level and beyond. It all starts with his vision. Latimer is an elusive runner that dissects running lanes and defenses exceptionally quick, which is often a skill that young RBs don't master until later in their careers. He has the suddenness and agility to quickly shift by defenders and find himself some green grass. Latimer might not be the kind of RB that garners major offers early on in his career. However, as more and more coaches see what he can do on Friday nights, I think he could get an opportunity to play at the P5 level.

https://twitter.com/creeksrecruits/status/1654529211556560898?s=20

[player_tooltip player_id='283838' first='Dylan' last='Biehl'] - OL - Lambert

Biehl has the framework to eventually develop into a very intriguing offensive tackle prospect. Biehl shows good mechanics and has excellent length. He has good hand placement and does a good job of regaining his footing when he is forced with contact. At 230 pounds, he will obviously need to add some more mass. Thankfully, he is just a youngster that has plenty of time to fill out his frame. Biehl has the framework and athleticism to develop into a very intriguing OT prospect a few years from now, so keep him on your radar.

https://twitter.com/dylanbiehl77/status/1656326142394081281?s=20

[player_tooltip player_id='681160' first='CJ' last='Gamble'] - LB - Carrollton

Gamble is a prospect that I would be watching very closely as he makes his way onto the varsity scene for Carrollton. To say that he "looks the part" would be an understatement. He has a solid 6'1 204 frame, built extremely well from head to toe. He is a seriously aggressive defender in the middle of the field, firing downfield and striking with force. He simply has a knack for getting to the ball, wasting no time with his decision making and has little to no hesitation in his game. I think Gamble is the kind of prospect that will quickly rise up the board once he starts to contribute at the varsity level. He simply just pops on film.

https://twitter.com/cjgamble___/status/1656815886500614149?s=20

[player_tooltip player_id='212243' first='DJ' last='Bordeaux'] - QB - Alpharetta

Bordeaux was a buzzy QB prospect out of Colorado last season. After transferring all the way to Alpharetta, he has brought some of that buzz with him to the south. Even with several P5 offers under his belt, Bordeaux still has the bulk of the recruitment process ahead of him and is a guy you need to be tracking very closely. Bordeaux has really shined on the camp and 7v7 circuit this offseason, flashing his competitiveness and the ability to fire the ball into tight windows. He showcases some fantastic footwork, throws a catchable ball, and is a good athlete that can stay ahead of the chains with his legs. It seems like a matter of time before Bordeaux takes that next step and becomes a very well-known name nationally, so be on the lookout.

https://twitter.com/__GoDJ__/status/1646246034723733504?s=20
