Some of these guys jump very high in our rankings, showcasing the measurables, athleticism, and tape to play at a really solid level in college while some guys are limited in one of those areas but still have really good potential to play at the next level as they round out their careers over the next two seasons. Either way, all these guys are on the right path, as evident in them moving from the watchlist to our rankings.
Crew Colon Crew Colon 6’2″ | 185 lbs | QB Minisink Valley | 2025 State NY is one of the top quarterbacks in the 2025 class and over the course of the last 7 months Colon has showcased that on the field and at different showcases around New York. Colon has a good frame at 6’2, 190lbs but his arm talent is what makes him one of the best in New York. Colon has great ball placement and does a good job of making tight window throws and also keeping receivers in stride down the field. One of the best deep ball throwers in this class, Colon does a good job of using the sidelines to make balls impossible for defenders to make a play on while still allowing his receivers to make routine catches. Colon, one of the most poised quarterbacks in the class makes a big jump from the watchlist to the top 20 overall, and #4 QB in the state.
Gavin Gatchalian Gavin Gatchalian 5’10” | 170 lbs | WR Farmingdale | 2025 State NY was in a very crowded wide receiver group at Farmingdale last season but a huge performance at the PrepRedzone showcase he jumped on our radar. Gatchalian has great speed and runs very crsips smooth routes. With the ball in his hands Gatchalian can make guys miss with quick cuts and his ability to stop and start maintaining momentum and reaccelerating quickly Mostly used has a gadget player on offense last season Gatchalian is in line for a very big season.
Highlights
Ciyan Philbert Ciyan Philbert RB Lincoln | 2025 State NY is one of the top Running Backs in the PSAL and the explosive athlete looks to build on a strong sophomore season and showcase one of the most athletic offense backfields in the entire state next to QB Nasheem Deas. Philbert runs with really good pad level and is explosive and quick making cuts. He can break tackles with power but also showcases the ability to make blocks against the run and and in the passing game. Reliable and consistent are two words that describe Philbert and this season taking that next step with a larger role in the backfield.
Enoch Thomas II Enoch Thomas II 5’7″ | 160 lbs | DB Holy Trinity | 2025 State NY is one of the best cover corners in the state. He has a limited frame at 5’7 160lbs which is factored into the evaluations and rankings but he has one of the most refined skillsets in coverage of any defensive back in this class, which I may add is a very strong group. Thomas has very quick feet and hips and there won’t be many receivers who can match his quickness and burst making cuts. His ability to process routes and close on the ball are strong and he can make in impact lined up in multiple positions along the defensive backfield.
King Saint Fleur King Saint Fleur 5’11” | 160 lbs | DB North Rockland | 2025 State NY has a bunch of really quality traits as a defensive back and has some solid positionional versatility. Saint Fleur has really solid range and ball skills and does a good job of getting his head back to the quarterback and finding the ball. Saint Fleur jumps from the watchlist to a very strong position in the rankings at #114 and the #11 defensive back. Saint Fleur’s evaluation is impacted by playing in Class C but he is easily one of the highest ranking players from that class in New York.

Mason Cuccia Mason Cuccia 6’1″ | 150 lbs | QB Franklin D. Roosevelt | 2025 State NY makes his debut at #153 overall and the #19 QB Cuccia is another very strong player in a very talented quarterback class. Cuccia has a very smooth release and can make throws at all three levels. Cuccia does a good job of adjusting ball velocity and flight on different types of throws. Cuccia also is patient and works in rhythm very well. Cuccia has good height at 6’2 but could add some weight to his frame to really give him a college level build. Regardless of size, Cuccia who is not very impactful with his legs has shown willingness to fight through tackles and use his body to get extra yards when necessary. Cuccia is a talented prospect with a high ceiling and one of the quarterbacks in this class to watch this fall.
Daniel Karadi Daniel Karadi 5’10” | 150 lbs | WR Hewlett | 2025 State NY had a strong season for Hewlett and was one of the most impactful receivers in Long Island. Karadi is a reliable target who has really solid hands and the versatility to line up at multiple WR positions. Karadi is one of the better short route runners in this class where he can create seperation consistently. In the run game, Karadi is a solid blocker and is willing to block LBs and bigger DBs. Karadi is very well rounded as a prospect and can create seperation, impact the game with the ball in his hands, and make plays without the ball give him a spot on our rankings #165 and #13 wide receiver.
Jeremiah Tucker Jeremiah Tucker 6’0″ | 215 lbs | DL East | 2025 State NY is a very solid contributor to very solid East program and jumps from our watchlist to #166 overall, #17 defensive lineman, and #11 defensive end. Tucker his limited size for a defensive lineman at 6′, 220lbs he may lack some size but he is very explosive and can win with quickness consistently. Tucker is a really solid pass rusher who has really solid counter moves. Tucker can beat tackles with quickness around the edge but also has good rip and swim moves to get back inside. Tucker is a good finisher around the QB and has the athleticism to make plays in space against athletic quarterbacks and running backs. Tucker is primed to continue to build off a strong sophomore season and has the potentially to gain more strength and athleticism as he develops.

Bryce Hinsdale Bryce Hinsdale 5’10” | 150 lbs | ATH Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama | 2025 State NY is one of the best class D players not just in Western New York, but the entire state. Hinsdale is a very advanced route runner and does a really good job of creating seperation on routes at all three levels of the field. Hinsdale also has great hands and routinely makes really difficult catches look easy in addition to making catches in traffic. Hinsdale is an impact player on both sides of the ball but at the next level projects as a wide receiver at the next level due to that advanced route runner.
Isaiah Teabout Isaiah Teabout 6’1″ | 165 lbs | ATH Shaker | 2025 State NY is a very well rounded ATH who has tape impacting the game at multiple positions. Teabout does a good job on the offensive side of the ball of making plays with the ball using his athleticism. At quarterback, Teabout has a really solid arm and can make multiple throws with consistency. At other positions on offense, Teabout is a really tough player to bring down with the ball and can make tough plays look easy. On defense, Teabout has solid instincts and reads the game well making plays both in the run game and against the pass.
