Tom’s Travels: Utah Sleepers

He will play for Saratoga Springs Westlake HS. Already has great size, speed, desire, and outstanding athletic ability. No doubt will have division one schools chasing.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ezra Heiner 6‘3“ 215 is another outstanding athlete from Saratoga springs West Lake HS. He can play TE, WR or LB. All-around receiver with outstanding hands, speed, and blocking skills. Can catch everything within his frame and surprises defenders with his quickness after the catch. Class of 2024 with a 3.2 GPA.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>2024 athlete Derek Anderson 6‘2“ 205 of Saratoga Springs Westlake HS can play QB, RB, WR, SB, LB, SS, or FS. He's a great tackler who flies to the ball and plays with power, speed, and intelligence. An outstanding all-around player with big-time skills. Also stars in basketball, has a 33-inch vertical, and holds a 4.0 GPA</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>East High has a big-time talent in LB/DE John Amone 6'2“ 190 in the class of 2025. Shows excellent cover skills, good footwork, speed, and agility to the ball and is a strong tackler. Outstanding pass rusher with a relentless style of play. Shows good use of hands and explosive moves. Holds a 3.0 GPA.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Porter Logan 5'11” 175 is a safety for Lehi Sky Ridge HS with explosive moves to the ball, good range, and a hard-hitting style of play. A coach on the field, a leader with a bright future. Reads and reacts exceptionally well. Holds a 4.0 GPA and certainly shows the athletic ability to make the leap to division one ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='698251' first='Tavian' last='Edwards'] 5‘11“ 175 Heber Wasatch HS is another outstanding athlete from the class of 2025. Put together an outstanding 2022 season picking off six passes and totaling 55 tackles. Shows excellent technique and is very aggressive. Comes to play on every down. Region MVP and holds a 3.8 GPA. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='406958' first='Tei' last='Nacua'] 6‘2“ 185 Provo Timpview shows superior skills at wide receiver. He's a class of 2024 prospect that is a good route runner with outstanding hands and excels at high-pointing the ball. A natural who shows excellent separation speed after the catch. One of the better offensive players in Utah.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='406960' first='Jensen' last='Somerville'] 6'7” 280 Lehi HS is one of the top tackle prospects in the west in the class of 2024. Very impressive length, smart, technique, and production. Shows a quick first step, is a natural knee bender, and can hit moving targets out on the second level. Second team all-state and holds a 3.4 GPA. Is versatile enough to play tackle or guard. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
