2026 5'11 175 QB - [player_tooltip player_id='324007' first='Carson' last='Lambert'] - Benedictine

[player_tooltip player_id='324007' first='Carson' last='Lambert'] showed a lot of promise throwing the football during the 2022 season. In the games that he played, Lambert threw for about 100 yards per game and 11 yards per completion. He ended the season with a .485% completion percentage, and he demonstrated the strong ability of throwing a tight spiral while on the run. My prediction is that 2023 will be a breakout season for [player_tooltip player_id='324007' first='Carson' last='Lambert'], and I wouldn't be shocked if he throws for multiple touchdowns per game. He's definitely ready to take over the starting position for the Titans, and I believe that he will lead them to a winning season.

2025 5'11 170 QB - [player_tooltip player_id='193649' first='Austin' last='Mawyer'] - Liberty Bealeton

[player_tooltip player_id='193649' first='Austin' last='Mawyer'] absolutely had his breakout season in 2022, and he completely dominated on the field and on the stat sheet. Mawyer threw for exactly 3,205 yards and, including his rushing, he scored a whopping 37 total touchdowns. While Mawyer has tremendous arm talent, what really stands out to me is his tremendous rush attack. He added 630 rushing yards to his 2022 season total, which far exceeds the national average, and his dual-threat abilities make him nearly impossible to defend. I believe that Liberty Bealeton's offense will continue to score a lot of points with him under center in 2023, and scouts everywhere must know the name [player_tooltip player_id='193649' first='Austin' last='Mawyer'] because he put forth one of the best high school football seasons in all of Virginia last year.

2025 5'9 135 QB - [player_tooltip player_id='206086' first='Jeb' last='Moon'] - Liberty Christian Academy

[player_tooltip player_id='206086' first='Jeb' last='Moon'] showcased his extremely elite throwing ability last season, and he led Liberty Christian to an 11-2 record on the way. He also earned both All-District and All-Region honors at the quarterback position as a result. Pound for pound, I'd say he launches the ball further than anyone on this list, and he's already shown us that he can make accurate throws during crunch time. [player_tooltip player_id='206086' first='Jeb' last='Moon'] and the Liberty Christian Bulldogs were one win away from being crowned regional champions in 2022, and it would not surprise me one bit if they compete for a championship yet again in 2023. The Seminole District Co-Champions, LCA, will be an elite squad yet again this Fall, and I believe that [player_tooltip player_id='206086' first='Jeb' last='Moon'] will have an incredible bounce-back season.

2025 6'2 155 QB - [player_tooltip player_id='801942' first='Kendall' last='Jones'] - Oakton

[player_tooltip player_id='801942' first='Kendall' last='Jones'] is a very exciting young lefty QB out of Oakton, VA, and he will take over the full-time starting role for the Cougars this upcoming season. Jones already possesses a handful of positive attributes at quarterback: his quick release, his decision making, his progression reading, his anticipation. He does almost all of the little things right, and when they all come together it makes for the type of winning football that was on full-display when he was on the field last season. Oakton football has a very bright future with [player_tooltip player_id='801942' first='Kendall' last='Jones'] at quarterback, and my prediction is that Jones will lead the Cougars to an above .500% winning percentage in 2023. Scouts in the DMV must have [player_tooltip player_id='801942' first='Kendall' last='Jones'] on their watchlists.

2025 6'0 185 QB - [player_tooltip player_id='1231559' first='Loui' last='Goin'] - St. Stephens

If you're looking for a quarterback with tremendous mobility and deep ball passing ability then look no further than [player_tooltip player_id='1231559' first='Loui' last='Goin'] of St. Stephens. Goin posted highlight reel game after highlight reel game in 2022, and he also put up solid numbers while doing so. He threw for nearly 100 yards per game with an average of 19 yards per completion, and he also threw only one interception during the year. It's very evident how much potential he has when you watch him play, and Goin's athleticism is such that the majority of defenses at this level simply cannot account for him. [player_tooltip player_id='1231559' first='Loui' last='Goin'] is a next level player with an extremely high ceiling, and, with Goin at quarterback, the Saints absolutely have a chance at IAC gold this year.
