Gaylord flashed promising skill and potential as the MVP of the DB group. He made multiple plays in 1v1 coverage against older competition and showed advanced technique during the indy period. He anticipates break points and closes on routes with natural quickness and length. Gaylord was arguably the top 2027 prospect at the event.
Highlights
Harden passes the eye test as a versatile safety with a strong, lengthy frame at 6’/190. He matches up well with bigger WR/TEs on the inside and shows ability to play at all three levels on film. He excels in press coverage when he’s able to utilize his reach and disrupt routes on the front end. Harden’s an under-the-radar 2024 DB prospect with strong upside in his versatility and frame.
Jaylee Abraham
Jaylee Abraham
Abraham’s an 7th grader from Arizona that took reps at both RB and DB. He’s a natural athlete that flashed quick reactions and change-of-direction in 1v1s. He mirrors patterns well and drives with force out of his break. Abraham starts 8th grade in the fall.
Highlights
Armenta was among the top testers at his position in multiple categories and flashed DB skills in 1v1s. He has adequate size at 6’/175 and moves well in coverage. On film, he’s an active tackler from his safety spot that does well closing space from the middle of the field. I expect Armenta’s stock to only go up heading into his senior season at Mount Miguel.
Mark Woods
Mark Woods
Woods is another 8th grader that put himself among the top performers at a high school camp. He’s a quick, fluid athlete that’s sticky in coverage and shows natural instincts as a CB. He was highly competitive in 1v1s, impressing with his ball skills and ability to consistently produce PBUs. He does a good job of staying low and exploding out of his break and shows overall advanced technique for his age. Woods will start high school in Arizona this fall.
