Highlights
Estrada’s a shifty athlete with flashy lateral agility and short-area speed. He changes speeds with ease to create separation and shows great body control at the catch point. He possesses twitchy elusiveness after the catch and doubles as a CB on defense. Estrada should look to add weight to his 5’10”/165 frame and build off his promising junior season coming into 2023.
Elijah Clark
Elijah Clark
Clark’s a pure athlete and a playmaker on the perimeter. He’s a reliable deep-threat that excels in 1v1 situations with superior ball skills and natural hands. He tracks the ball well downfield and shows good field vision with the ball in his hands. He totaled over 900 receiving yards and 5 TDs as a junior. Clark’s a fringe top-5 WR in San Diego’s 2024 class heading into his senior season.
Chance Lachappa
Chance Lachappa
Lachappa’s a talented two-way player at WR/DB for El Capitan. He holds upside in his length as a receiver and looks all of 6’3” on film- also has a basketball background. He’s a savvy, athletic mover both in his patterns and navigating space after the catch. He led the offense in every receiving category as a junior with 42 catches for 800+ yards and 11 TDs. Lachappa should see plenty of opportunities to put together strong senior film as the likely top target for rising 2025 QB Brandt Barker and has potential to be a late-bloomer on the recruiting trail.
Jake Marcial
Jake Marcial
Marcial’s a quick athlete with natural speed and fluidity. He’s a crafty route-runner with twitchy start-stop movement. What he lacks in size (5’8”/145) he makes up for in offensive skill set and playmaking. Marcial should be one of the more productive WRs in San Diego’s South Bay this season.
Isaiah Hasten
Isaiah Hasten
Hasten has appealing upside/potential in his size and length at 6’3”/180. He’s a long strider on the outside that can separate on deep routes with adequate top-end speed. He has a narrow frame and is slippery in space after the catch. Hasten’s a versatile athlete that also serves as a DB and is a four-sport athlete in basketball, track, and volleyball.
