Kiewiet is a player that is known as a duel-threat quarterback but he showed great work from the pocket and looked smooth all day. He was able to make good quick decisions and was not holding onto the ball too long. Saw him making the right decision and taking what the defense gave him. He was able to lead receivers well and was reading through his progressions fast when they got further into the day. He will not fly under the radar for long and will be someone to watch moving forward.
Tafoya was a player that grabbed some attention quickly in linebacker drills with how smooth he was throughout the entire period. He carried over his great footwork and that quick burst from the running back position and it translated well when he was at backer. He looked good in his drops being able to open up his hips and then use quick feet to break back toward the ball. When he transitioned to the offensive side of the ball he was able to show his route running ability and good hands being able to come down with most of his pass attempts. Will be another player to keep an eye on moving forward.
Mauck was another player that looked good in the speed portion at the start of the day. He looked relaxed and comfortable and it showed up when he got into drill work. He was smooth in his route running, being precise and showed the speed to match it, being able to show his quickness. He was fast in and out of his breaks and showed soft hands. He was able to come up with some good catches when they started working against defenders. Was one of the top under the radar receivers to know for the day.
Highlights
Prante walked away with the defensive line MVP and was impressive for majority of the day. He was very coachable and used was able to apply the techniques that he was taught quickly. He showed great footwork in drills, was also able to show good leverage and burst when getting off as well. In his pass rush he gets low and can power the offensive line back into the quarterback. On the offensive side he is naturally a Tight End but was working with O-Line and looked natural. Will be a player to watch on both sides of the ball.

Cade Holles
Cade Holles
Holles was someone who jumped out with his size and how he was able to move. In testing he stayed at the top of his group, which he had some stiff competition with some good receivers so that was impressive. He carried that over to drill work where he was able to show his strength and quickness. He has good footwork and had some good moves when they worked one on one. He made it a battle for the defensive line MVP and will have a lot to build on moving forward this spring/summer.
Swazo was a player that grabbed my attention early with testing and just how smooth his running style is. He has great burst and has the top end speed to go with it. He carried that over to drill work and didn’t miss a beat bring the competitiveness throughout the day. He was able to show some soft hands when they worked 1v1 and when they went 3v3, showing off his route running ability as well. He is a guy that has a motor and will be a player to watch moving forward.
