Can't think of any other way to describe Aamir besides just a ball of energy. Hill is a hidden gem in the 2025 class with all the tools to rise by his senior season. Despite not being the biggest player on the field, Aamir can straight-up ball. He is a standout two-way player that always seemed to make a play when the Eagles needed one. Aamir is a reliable receiver with clamps for hands and top-tier twitch to shake off defenders. He's a tough player that doesn't mind making catches in traffic over the middle of the field. Defensively, he really lets his football IQ shine by reading plays quickly and hustling over to break it up or make a quick stop. Aamir also showed off his vision and elusiveness on special teams. Hill finished his sophomore season with 20 receptions, 233 receiving yards, 26 tackles, three pass break ups, a tackle for loss, 342 KO return yards, and a 17-yard average punt return. Playing in a new system could lead to a rise in production and development for Aamir.

Mapieu was a big surprise in this rankings update. Kouchinin was a two-way starter for the McCool Junction Mustangs. Mapieu's big frame stands out on tape and then he really catches your attention when you see his physicality. I was impressed with his play on the defensive line. He has great run-stuffing ability and can collapse the line from the interior. Mapieu's biggest asset is his strength which allows him to overwhelm opponents immediately at the snap. He uses violent hands to disengage from blockers and shows surprisingly good lateral movement. On offense, he looks like a great run-blocker that shoots out of his stance and can make great initial contact. Mapieu's motor and mean streak are a terrifying combination. Keep an eye out for this guy, he has received interest from Division 1 programs already.

Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='545267' first='Kendrick' last='Mason'] flew under the radar on a loaded Millard South OL last season. The Patriot's guard did more than fine in his first season starting varsity. Mason may be "undersized" but he is stout and very strong. He is tough to push off his spot when he drops his anchor in pass protection and can use the power in his hips and upper body to overtake opponents. Mason can get after it as a run blocker, looking to make contact as soon as he jumps out of his stance. He maintains great leverage, solid positioning, and has the power to finish his blocks. Tons of potential for Kendrick especially considering how well they've developed linemen.

Lots of great talent in this area of the state! Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='518053' first='Noah' last='Shoemaker'] looks like a great up-and-coming QB that is going to be a force in Class C1. He finished his sophomore season with 1,250 passing yards, 15 passing touchdowns, and 4 rushing touchdowns. Noah is a poised pocket passer that also shows solid mobility to evade the rush. He has a good feel for the game, able to anticipate throwing windows, and can sense pressure coming. I also thought Noah's ability to climb the pocket while continuing to keep his eyes downfield was nice to see in a young QB. He can deliver the ball on a rope and has shown glimpses of nice touch on his throws. Shoemaker didn't get asked to run the ball much but when he decides to tuck and run it's usually a good call. Noah did finish at 44% completion, but now with a full season of experience and a boost in confidence, we could see an even scarier player take the field in 2023.

Versatile player that gained experience at several spots on the Titan's offensive line. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='319582' first='Aiden' last='Whitted'] filled in at left tackle, right tackle, and center during different times this season. Aiden looked sharp in his tape, using solid technique and footwork with his blocks. Whitted already shows the ability to take on speed rushers on the outside and bigger tackles in the interior. He displayed great lateral and downhill movement, able to keep moving downfield to pick up additional blocks. Whitted is going to be a player to watch in an already loaded '25 OL group.
