[player_tooltip player_id='556002' first='Macavion' last='Hill'] won the top running back award with his ability to attack agility drills like the 5-10-5, L-drill, and 40-yard dash. Hill also showed serviceable hands in running the route tree and proved to be extremely quarterback friendly when applying his skillset to the camp standards.

[player_tooltip player_id='409055' first='Flander' last='Malone'] of Mansfield took home the outstanding linebacker award thanks to his awareness and ball skills. Malone showed off great ability to drop into pass coverage and stay attached to the receiver's hip on base routes and double moves. He scored high in all agility drills as well and was a vocal leader on the field.

LaBroderick Wilson Jr. of Caddo Middle School won the defensive back MVP. This kid displayed great ball skills and in phase techniques. He never broke square positioning in the press and had disciplined eyes whenever he found himself out of phase. He has the ability to close with sudden speed and finish pass defenses with aggression. I look for him to blow up in the near future due to his outing at the camp.

Derrick Gleason became the camp's defensive lineman MVP. This was the worst kept secret of the camp once he took his first one on one snap against an offensive lineman. The rep and many others ended in pancakes for breakfast, or the offensive foe being placed in a spin cycle. Gleason has the size and "get off" to be extremely special. Remember the name moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='484203' first='Brody' last='Knowles'] of South Lake Carrol took home the receiver award. He represents a program that is knowns for amazing and disciplined skill positions in South Lake Carrol. Knowles didn't see a route he either didn't like or couldn't execute. He lived in the open spaces and had a natural gift for creating separation for the quarterback's throwing window. He showed great "snap down" and arm action out of breaks.

Warrick Vanblaricon was the outstanding offensive lineman recipient. Vanblaricon stands a legit 6'3 as an 8th grader and has a wingspan out of this world. He utilized the forementioned to shock rushers and counter their countermoves. He displayed great footwork and was able to stay seated in position while depressing back into the pocket and climbing the pocket to redirect.
