YORK | Boiling Springs tight end Dekari Sterling (pictured above) made good work of Sunday's Palmetto Combine workout at York Comprehensive High School.

He quickly made his presence known in the 40-yard dash as he showed good stride moving through the line. Later during the broad jump, he kept his body movement under control as he moved from cone to cone.

Let's jump into some other observations from the morning session:

40-YARD DASH

Catawba Ridge LB Jackson Burger moves really quickly for a guy his size and it felt like he was quicker the second time around in the 40. We don't have his official time yet, but the proof is in the movement.

Andrew Jackson RB [player_tooltip player_id='317140' first='Trey' last='Thompson'] was in and out on his 40 time and it was even better his second time through.

Clover WR [player_tooltip player_id='589011' first='Dion' last='Brown'] plays baseball and you can see how quickly he's able to get his stride going and he finished the run very well.

PRO SHUTTLE

Boiling Springs LB JoJo Barrett moved quickly from cone to cone and displayed good agility. He moves with a purpose as well.

Gaffney LB [player_tooltip player_id='448239' first='Emazon' last='Littlejohn'] is long and rangy to where he can keep his feet underneath him. He won the top O skill award at the end of the session.

AWARDS

Ben Lippen WR Blake Bost won the fastest pro shuttle award with a 4.2.

Broome OL Steven O'Dell won the award for best offensive lineman.
