The top of the class looks great with the likes of Jayden Fortier Jayden Fortier 6'5" | 220 lbs | TE Tualatin | 2024 State OR , Devin Brooks Devin Brooks 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Clackamas | 2024 State OR , Wiley Donnerberg Wiley Donnerberg 6'4" | 200 lbs | ATH West Linn | 2024 State OR , Joey Olsen Joey Olsen 6'6" | 220 lbs | TE Lakeridge | 2024 State OR , etc. Although those guys are great, I want to look at some guys flying under the radar a bit, and what better way is there to start than looking at the big boys up front? These are some guys to pay attention to this upcoming season at the offensive line.
First, we have Patrick Wooley Patrick Wooley 6’5″ | 350 lbs | DL Liberty | 2024 State OR , the big man from Liberty High School. Patrick is a massive human and, he lets you know. He is a very physical blocker who wants to get the guy he is blocking on the ground. Plays with a level of tenacity that is needed to be an above average offensive lineman. Not only is Patrick physical, but he actually can move pretty well for his size, which explains why he is also a solid defensive line prospect. I loved watching Patrick’s film at guard for Liberty and cannot wait to see what he does this season.

Next, we have Reid Dobash out of Tualatin High School. Reid played right guard for the semi-finalist Timberwolves this past season and did an excellent job. What stood out to me the most when watching Reid was his physicality. For not being the biggest or strongest, he played with a nastiness that helped him get the job done. I firmly believe that Reid could become a very nice offensive lineman recruit with another year of coaching and development.
Now we have Teagen Allen Teagen Allen 6’3″ | 300 lbs | OL Cascade | 2024 State OR out of Cascade High School. Teagen looked like a man amongst boys this past season playing left tackle for the Cougars. He does a great job of delivering a solid strike and driving his feet until his opponent is on his back. He is one of the better run blockers I have seen. Teagen also showed the ability to move in space a bit while playing at left tackle, although he will most likely be a guard at the next level. I am excited to see what he does this fall, and don’t be surprised if some run-heavy teams come calling.
Up next, we have Tyler Ragan Tyler Ragan 6’3″ | 285 lbs | OL Santiam Christian | 2024 State OR from Santiam Christian High School. Tyler aligned at right tackle for the Eagles this past season and was great. Tyler’s ability to move in space is phenomenal, and he is a plus athlete for his size. I also think he has some of the better form I have seen, as he is great at sustaining blocks because of his “sticky hands.” He also has a frame that should develop nicely at the next level. I am very intrigued by Tyler as a prospect, and I am excited to see how he looks in his Senior year.
Highlights
Lastly, we have Colden Carson Colden Carson 6’5″ | 300 lbs | OL Ida B Wells | 2024 State OR from Ida B. Wells High School. Colden played left tackle for the Guardians this past year and showed some flashes. The first thing that stands out is his size. As we all know, you cannot teach size. I also enjoy how he finishes his blocks, as he doesn’t want to stop until his opponent is on the ground. With the right coaching, Colden could develop into a solid offensive lineman at the next level.
