De’Mari Clemons De’Mari Clemons 5’10” | 160 lbs | DB Bennett | 2026 State NY is up to 7 offers after sitting on Syracuse and Buffalo for a little bit just in the past couple months Clemons has gotten offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Akron, Pittsburgh, and Penn State. The Freshman cornerback is one of the top 2026 prospects in New York and is already getting some national attention from top FBS programs.
Highlights
The first 2027 from New York with an offer, Kory Brown Kory Brown 5’7″ | 160 lbs | RB Tottenville | 2027 State NY is a freak athlete and the RB picked up a huge first offer from Rutgers which is bound to put him on the radar of all the top Power 5 and Group of 5 schools in the Northeast. I saw him run back to back 4.47 hand timed 40-yards at the PRZ Next camp in NJ. That was the fastest time of any athlete that day from both the middle school and high school camps. Brown is a stud and could follow top 2026 players Clemons and Carey in terms of the National Recruiting attention he will receiver.
Matthew Tomaszewski Matthew Tomaszewski 6’3″ | 275 lbs | OL Shenendehowa | 2024 State NY picked up his first offer from University of Albany and for good reason. Tomaszewski has more accolades headed into his senior year than most NY lineman are able to achieve for their careers. Lean and athletic Tomaszewski is a top tackle prospect in the State. Tomaszewski has some of the most advanced fundmentals in the state and his ability to win with his hand placement and violence is at an elite level for HS. He has room to grow and add size and strength so I think this Albany offers is the kickstart to being one of the most sought after OT by FCS schools in the Northeast.
Highlights
Trevor Barry Trevor Barry 6’1″ | 210 lbs | RB Iroquois | 2024 State NY has already put together multiple historic seasons. With already over 3,000 career rushing yards and over 65 touchdowns Barry has the accolades that will end up as threatening all-time records after this season. Barry has the size for the next level too at 6’1 205lbs. Barry just picked up his first offer from Duquesne and I would expect some more local FCS and even IVY league stuff coming throughout the season for Barry. Playing in class B in New York makes it tough for Barry to get many FBS looks but it is rare we see players from Class B getting DI offers prior to their senior season just showcasing how talented Barry is.
Darrell Hamilton Darrell Hamilton 5’11” | 265 lbs | DL Bennett | 2024 State NY may have played on a team with two top 10 2023 recruits and another top 15 2024 recruit but that has not stopped him from showcasing one of the most unique skillsets and versatility in the state. Hamilton is 5’11, 275lbs but moves better than most RBs in this class. He just recieved his first offer from Merrimack and while programs may question the height just turn on the tape and you will see a player who just knows how to ball. Hamilton can play FB/LB/DT/DE and there honestly are a couple more ways he could be used on ST or Offense at the next level.
Highlights
Tanner Burlingame Tanner Burlingame 6’5″ | 270 lbs | OL Maine-Endwell | 2024 State NY is one of the most important players for Maine-Endwell in all three facets of the game. On offense Burlingame is a lengthy offensive tackle who can win in space or dominant in tight spaces on the inside run game. On defensive Burlingame is a quick defensive tackle whose length and upper body strength is very tough for opponents to deal with. He also is one of, if not the best LS in New York 24′. Burlingame just picked up a huge offer from UMASS and for good reason, he is a baller in all three phases.
Highlights
Eamonn Welch Eamonn Welch 6’2″ | 220 lbs | DL Chaminade | 2024 State NY will be a player to watch this fall in the CHSFL. The OLB/DE has a solid build at 6’1 220lbs and showed solid athleticism on tape. Welch also shows some really solid pass rushing skills and the ability to win with speed off the edge. Welch just picked up an offer from Carleton and could be a heavily sought after DIII prospect throughout this season.
Highlights
Another Maine-Endwell stud, Adam DeSantis Adam DeSantis 6’3″ | 240 lbs | DL Maine-Endwell | 2024 State NY is a game wrecker at defensive end. The 6’3, 235lbs DE was 1st team all state as a sophmore and his one of the best pass rushers in New York. A deep back of pass rush moves and a great combination of size and quickness off the edge make DeSantis a nightmare for offensive tackles. DeSantis has picked up two offers recently, one from Army and the other from Lehigh. DeSantis will be a player to watch when the 2024 rankings are updated.
Marcus Harrison Marcus Harrison 6’8″ | 335 lbs | OL St. Francis | 2024 State NY , one of the top 2024 prospects has been receiving a ton of recruiting attention for a few seasons but his most recent offer was a big one from Miami. Harrison is flooded with 12 division one offers but Miami becomes on of the most intriguing players in the tackles recruitment as the biggest program by name.
Highlights
The first 2024 quarterback to receive an offer, Jake Tripptree Jake Tripptree 6’1″ | 185 lbs | QB Sayville | 2024 State NY is a smooth operator behind center. He has the size, athleticism, and arm talent you want at the next level and is a sound decision maker that looks the part. That offer is from FCS Lafayette and while Tripptree is a huge FCS who could even garner some FBS looks with another really good season.
