Cooley is so dominant on defense that he even lines up in the backfield at fullback from time to time. As a ball carrier himself, Cooley possesses deep knowledge and experience at the running back position, therefore I believe this is one reason that he's such an elite run defender as a linebacker. He has no fear when charging forward with full speed to clog gaps, and he's a very efficient tackler that earns a lot of solos. [player_tooltip player_id='372467' first='Michael' last='Cooley'] is already a two time All-County 1st Team member, and he has also received a D1 offer from UNCC. Kijjambu displayed a chameleon-like ability to play every position on the field in 2022, and he also thrived in every single one of those positions including quarterback. As a Sophomore, [player_tooltip player_id='507094' first='Arnold' last='Kijjambu'] was already named Team Captain of this Bladensburg team, and I believe that fact shows more about Kijjambu's overall skill and character than anything else. With 76 tackles in 9 games, Whiteford put up tremendous Sophomore numbers, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him earn All-County Defensive Team honors at the end of this year. Queen Anne's defense led them to a 7-3 overall record in 2022, and [player_tooltip player_id='507095' first='Parker' last='Whiteford'] is most definitely one of the rising stars on that defense. He has a very high ceiling, and I believe his game will make an easy transition to the college level. Their defense continues to stifle its opposition with ease, and, Sophomore linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='374310' first='Jaiden' last='Johnson'] has lot to do with that effort. He's arguably the most athletic underclassman currently on the Flowers roster, and, on the way to another winning season, my prediction is that he records multiple interceptions and forced fumbles as well. North Point linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='374309' first='Jerbauri' last='McFadden'] was a huge reason for the Eagles' dominant performance in 2022, and his main area of success was pressuring the quarterback. McFadden breached opposing backfields with ease seemingly on every snap, and I believe that his blitzing prowess will lead to big numbers for him on the stat sheet in 2023.
