LB Prospects from the 2024 Class- Part II

He takes snaps at defensive back from time to time, however, he displayed so much dominance at the outside linebacker position last season that I fully expect him to take most of his snaps there in 2023. Berry currently has D1 offers from both Marshall and Navy, but I fully expect more offers to roll in as he continues to showcase his talents. Rock Creek Christian always plays the best of the best from around the DMV, therefore we'll get to see how [player_tooltip player_id='364619' first='Kieran' last='Berry'] matches up against more elite competition in 2023. Even with a difficult schedule, I wouldn't be surprised if Rock Creek Christian finishes this upcoming season above .500%. Army, Navy, and Air Force have all made offers to Roy, putting him in very rare company. There's no question that [player_tooltip player_id='497898' first='Jaihien' last='Roy'] is an absolute wrecking ball on the field, and he's the type of player that can impact a play no matter where it develops. Roy plays winning football with apex energy on every single snap, and he's definitely a spark that can ignite this Queen Anne team in 2023. Saint Joseph's</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2022 season was absolutely a breakout one for [player_tooltip player_id='497929' first='Sahir' last='West']. With 63 tackles, 10 sacks and an interception, he put up the best numbers of his high school career so far, but I expect that 2023 will be even better for him. West already has DI offers from schools like JMU and USF, but, in my opinion, these offers are just the tip of the iceberg for [player_tooltip player_id='497929' first='Sahir' last='West']. His prospect ceiling is probably the highest on this list, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he's offered by power five conference schools in the near future. [player_tooltip player_id='497929' first='Sahir' last='West'] is a supremely talented overall player with huge potential.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Highlights: <a href="https://t.co/ansMrLrX84">https://t.co/ansMrLrX84</a></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2024 5'10 200 LB/RB - [player_tooltip player_id='263169' first='Dehron' last='Johnson'] - Suitland</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='263169' first='Dehron' last='Johnson'] plays with immense speed and physicality. He utilizes his skillset very efficiently, and, for this reason, he's able to play on both sides of the football. Johnson is a bruising ball carrier for the Rams out of their backfield, but he's also a hard hitting defender in the secondary. His well-roundedness has a lot to do with his elite status as a recruit, and I am not surprised because [player_tooltip player_id='263169' first='Dehron' last='Johnson'] is an electrifying player no matter where he lines-up. He possesses an extremely high football IQ, therefore, with the right coaching, [player_tooltip player_id='263169' first='Dehron' last='Johnson'] truly has the potential to thrive at any position at the next level. He's a premier DI prospect.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Highlights: <a href="https://t.co/njIgQ9gB5b">https://t.co/njIgQ9gB5b</a></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2024 6'2 215 LB - [player_tooltip player_id='264173' first='Seth' last='LeMarr'] - Poolesville</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='264173' first='Seth' last='LeMarr'] displayed top tier ability in 2022, and, during the season, he was definitely one of Poolesville's strongest tacklers. LeMarr is a finisher, and once he has his hands on the ball carrier then it's game over. He causes lots of deflections at the line of scrimmage with his active hands and athleticism, and he's also a vocal communicator. [player_tooltip player_id='264173' first='Seth' last='LeMarr'] is in a great position to have the best season of his career in 2023, and I believe that he will be rolling in college offers when he does so.
