Ivion Jordan
Ivion Jordan
81 looks like a man amongst boys on the line causing havoc in the middle. If you want to see resetting the line of scrimmage, go look at his tape. Jordan is a force clogging the middle and making devastating drive killing plays in the backfield. He is powerful with a strong base and a physical playstyle which is needed at the position. He has a quick get off with a violent punch, and is very quick for his size. Jordan moves very well laterally and will catch your eye when watching him. His game is mesmerizing on the defensive side and he is a player who will have much success in the future as he continues his development.
Martin Carreon Jr.
Martin Carreon Jr.
Carreon shows a nasty comnination of power and quickness from the nose position. He is agile and makes himself skinny when he needs, and controls gaps showing his strength. His hands are very quick and his punch is stunning to offensive linemen. Carreon is physical at the point of attack and does a great job of fighting the block, locating the ball, then pursuing the play. Carreon’s film is teach tape. He does his job and makes plays from doing it correctly.
Jeremiah Swain
Jeremiah Swain
Swain is a relentless pursuer to the ball and has a great first step off of the snap. Swain’s quickness is what separates him from many. He is a versatile lineman with the ability to move out to the end position when needed. His ability to shoot gaps with his speed causes many issues for opposing linemen. Swain also showed his strength, pressing blocks off of him and giving little to no ground when engaged. Swain can surprise many with his play and can be a popular name next season.
Antoine Milon
Antoine Milon
Milon just controls the A gaps with power and force. It does not matter who is in front of him, he will control the interior line. Milon’s strength is displayed over and over again on film, moving blockers or just going straight through them to reach his target. He shows grat awareness, reading screens and relocating to the running back which looks to be one of his favorite plays to defend. Milon moves incredibly well which adds even more to his game. He has the athleticism to chase down quarterbacks running out of the pocket looking for options. Milon has a very good game to him and one definitely worth keeping eyes on.
Xavier McCray
Xavier McCray
Ok. It is not fair to have a player of this size move this quickly and be so nimble on his feet. McCray is what opponents fear going against. Power, speed, and a dominating presence on the field. McCray shows from the snap how fast he is with an extremely quick get off and a stunning punch to knock linemen off balance. He takes on double teams for majority of the games, but fights through them and locating the ball, looking to make a play. McCray is a hustler as well, showing the drive and ability to chase a play down yards passed the line of scrimmage. He just causes much havoc in the middle, being a major part of the defenses success.
