Friday’s Film Session Texas Edition

<p>Yall know everybody Friday we roll out the tape. These are the times where we find new players. We will also throw out a session of guys who are already known. Having good film is shows your ability. Anybody can talk a good game, but does the film back it up?</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='413819' first='Damien' last='McDaniel'], Hitchcock, 2024 ATH</strong></h2>   <p>McDaniel is an absolute playmaker on the football field. He gets open with his, mainly because of that nice release. He gives his quarterback a wide target to throw the football to with his ball skills. McDaniel is also an impact player on defense. When he intercepts the football, he is a threat to take it back for a touchdown. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Malik Esquerra, Shoemaker, 2024, DB</strong></h2>   <p>Esquerra is a very good safety that has a nice football IQ. When you watch his film you can notice how he reacts to plays. When he sees a play, he instantly attacks to make something happen. He also has great athleticism to make big plays when the football is in the air. He is a 6-0 guy that is going to be a division one football player.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Obi Udom, Frisco, 2024, DE</strong></h2>   <p>Udom knows how to get to the quarterback. He can get there however he chooses to do so. He has a nice bull rush that puts offensive linemen on their heels. Udom can also get crafty with a few moves. He is long guy that can get his hands up to disrupt passes in the pocket. Udom also can make good open field tackles. He hardly ever let's quarterbacks get away. He has received an offer from Air Force. Many more offers will come for him.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='923423' first='Jack' last='VanDorselaer'], TE, Southlake Carroll, 2025</strong></h2>   <p>VanDorselaer has a very balanced film that you want to see from a tight end. He can set the edge with ease on running plays. He makes the right steps with his feet to ensure ends can't get around him to make tackles. VanDorselaer is also very athletic. He has good speed. His release from the line at receiver is amazing. This is a power five TE who is going to be a problem on the next level. He is definitely a guy college coaches want to know. He gives quarterbacks a big target to throw the football to.</p>
