Mark Nii Kojo Hansen Mark Nii Kojo Hansen 6'1" | 200 lbs | ATH Arthur Johnson | 2024 State NJ is a 6’1 200 pound athlete he plays both sides of the ball and the majority of his tape is at edge rusher. As an edge rusher, he has a very quick first step and is a very explosive player. He’s disruptive in run defense, however, he’s still very raw.
Now that he’s entering his senior year if he wants any chance of playing college football he should switch, his position to either tight end or wide receiver. There really isn’t much tape showing how he moves with the ball in his hands. Still, there’s enough surmise, that he would bring a significant level of dynamism to an offense if his time were spent cultivating his talents at wide receiver, or tight end, I would feel more confident about him playing football at the next level.
Menicucci brings a level of explosiveness on both sides of the ball. At 5’11 195 pounds Menicucci as a linebacker he’s able to explode downhill to make 1 on 1 tackles and it’s impressive to see as he can also be effective as Blitzer. In addition, he also plays running back and he knows how to hit the holes with burst and decisiveness with good vision.
There aren’t many p players, that he goes against that can match his level of athleticism, which is why I believe should market himself as an athlete as more opportunities could find their way to him. I’m very excited to see how Emilio is utilized this upcoming season.
Tyler James Tyler James 6'4" | 310 lbs | OL Newark Collegiate | 2024 NJ is a big powerful offensive guard. At 6’4 310 pounds Tyler is a bulldozer in the run game. His long-term fit will be at guard as he can be a player who could be good at boat from blocking and pass blocking.
Tyler is one of those players that is naturally strong. He doesn’t play with great leverage. However, when he gets his hands on you he’s able to latch on and maintain the block throughout the play. However, if he play with better leverage, he would be one of the most dominant run blockers in the state.
As a pass protector, he has much to improve in terms of awareness, punch, timing, and feet. Due to his size and strength, he can develop into a solid pass blocker in who can be adequate at dealing with stunts and twists.
Tyler currently has no Division I offers but he’s been taking visits to schools like Sacred Heart and Syracuse. I have full confidence he will be playing at the Power five division one level at the end of his senior year.
Mohammed has good size at 6’3 280 pounds being a tackle-guard hybrid he can play both positions adequately. His long-term position however will be guard. He has solid length and excels in the run game he can move, defensive linemen off their spots at the point of attack and he’s able to block second level.
As a pass protector, he needs a lot of work on his technique, but I think he shows enough where he has malleable traits where he can develop into a solid pass protector on the division, two or three level.
There is nothing sexy about Matthew’s game, however, Matthew will make a lot of plays that will be impactful over the course of a given football game. He has a nose for the football and seems to always be around the action whether it’s in coverage, patrolling the middle, or seem to be around the football for fumble, recoveries, and turnovers.
He has a good size at 6 foot 210 pounds and it’s best suited to play in the box. He’s not an overly explosive or fast player but he’s effective as a Blitzer, has a good motor, reads his keys well, and can line up on the end line of scrimmage, bringing much versatility to a defense.
Depaul Catholic’s defense is full of underrated prospects. Matthew is one that gets overlooked, but he will have his name in consideration for best linebacker in the state.
