Turner recently transferred to Mount Diablo in the Bay Area and has recently been picking up offers from the likes of Utah State, Utah, Washington State and Air Force. He is an explosive playmaker with elite short area twitch and breakaway speed while able to offer return abilities as well and is fearless going into traffic. A low to the ground compact runner, he runs behind his pads, stays patient in-between the tackles and is tough to bring down in the open field. He has impressed at multiple events this off-season and is one of the top backs across California.
Anderson put up big time numbers in his first two prep seasons and solidified himself as one of the best players in Northern California, regardless of class. Recently picking up offers from Utah, Washington and Cal, he should have others closing in on him soon as well. Anderson is a two-way explosive playmaker with great tracking abilities, ball skills and strong hands in traffic while able to lineup in the backfield and take direct snaps while a natural ball carrier with good vision, initial burst and third level speed. Defensively, he is a big time hitter at the third level and reacts quickly, triggers well downhill and explodes through contact while a sound tackler with ball skills. He most likely will find his home at the P5 level at either safety or outside linebacker as he continues to grow and pack on more weight.
Hylkema was a standout performer at the National Combine in Vegas this Winter, and has legitimate size at 6’7″+ and a good frame with no bad weight and a very strong lower body. He bends well for his size at his hips and ankles and snaps out of his stance with a strong punch and finish at the first level. He is patient in pass protection and can anchor against power rushers while quick enough to get out against speed rushers and post back inside against counters with an inside punch. He is a high IQ kid that can pick up twists/stunts and plays with good pad level and leverage, especially for his size. He recently earned his first offers from Utah State, UNLV and Nevada, but it should not be long until he collects his first P5 offer.
