Continue Reading7v7 tournaments have been on the rise in New England in the last 3 years. So much that the leader in Amatuer Sports(AAU), has taken a big step to get its first of many more to come New England 7v7 Tournaments held in New England. In this report, we will cover the underclassman prospects who stood out at this tournament that drew teams from Rhode Island, Maine, Connecticut, and Massachusetts to a central location to compete.
Mason Hadad Mason Hadad 6’1″ | 180 lbs | QB St. Johns Shrewsbury Ma. | 2026 New E (7v7 Program Outlawz) ‘Hadad is a rising QB standing a good 5’11” in height. Has good accuracy, quick release, and can zip it into tight windows when needed. He has good field awareness and was seen going through his progressions and making good decisions. He caught my attention after a few throws where I could see a tight window inside the redzone and he found it and delivered. He is young and should be able to compete for the starting position on his team this season.
Highlights
Jeremy Seidi Jeremy Seidi 6’0″ | 185 lbs | LB Bishop Hendricksen RI. | 2026 State New E (7v7 Program Breakthrough Elite) “Seidi is a name many will know in fall 2023. He is a rising freshman with advanced abilities for his age. He played varsity as a freshman last season at strong safety.
He caught my eye with his solid 6’0″ frame that appears already developed with very good lean muscle. (Eye Test) He still has room for additional growth and has me wondering where he will be in two years.. Once he began moving and sprinting around the field, his speed stood out to me. His athletic coordination is excellent. Has very good coverage skills on defense and cover sideline to sideline with his speed range. His hands and leaping ability were impressive the entire day. He loves to high-top the ball when targeted. My early projection is he will fall under the recruitment for Div 1 schools. He is aggressive, confident and physical.
Yandel Pelaez Yandel Pelaez 5’11” | 190 lbs | DB Juanita Sanchez | 2026 New E (7v7 Program Breakthrough Elite) One of my favorite athletes though out the tournament. A rising talent that stands 5’10 and lean with good muscle. He is a physical DB that can play press man coverage. Has a smooth and fluid back pedal. His hips are loose and he can open in either direction quickly. He grabbed my attention with his consistent press man coverages. When he plays press man, he has an aggressive/strong hand technique at the line of scrimmage, that prevented a few receivers from even getting off the line of scrimmage. I project he will be a name known during the fall 2023 season and beyond.
Johnathan Oliveira Johnathan Oliveira 5’8″ | 160 lbs | WR Brockton H.S. Ma. | 2026 New E ( 7v7 program NOS Elite) He caught everything thrown his way indicating excellent eye hand coordination. He gets up field quickly after the catch. He is an experienced route runner who will find the soft spot in zone coverages. He plays with very good confidence in his abilities. He will lay out for the ball if needed. He made several plays throughout the day that defined his athletic potential. I project he will be a name known to several coaches before his senior season. Has time and room for additional growth and development.
Jayden Muhammad Jayden Muhammad 6’1″ | 185 lbs | QB Cathedral H.S. Ma. | 2025 New E (7v7 Program ISI Gray) “Muhammad is a rising 2025 QB from Massachusetts. He stood out on the day with his efforts and consistent desire to compete. In my experiences, dual-threat QBs may be raw as passers at early ages, but should show well as a pure athlete on the field in every game and possess above average size/speed combinations. I can say this defines Muhammad. He can escape and make plays with his arm and feet. A rising threat that will continue to develop and likely grab attention of college coaches after 2023 season.
