The first round of 2026 rankings was released this week. This was a difficult list to do just because of how spread out the players are not just by classes but with players spread across the Varsity, JV, and freshman levels. There were a few players that I know have the ability to dominate but I would like to see them compete at a camp/7v7/practice event this summer to give them a more fair and accurate evaluation.

Isaac is a player that I have heard a lot about and was on the fringe of making the initial Top 40. I only had a few clips of his, but he definitely showed the makings of an elite prospect. Standing at 6'5", Isaac uses his size advantage very well and can play above everyone on the field. He has recently been on a tear in 7v7 while playing for 402 Boyz, racking up big plays week after week. I know Isaac has a very high ceiling but with little tape, I didn't know exactly where to place him. I'm hoping to catch him at a camp or 7v7 tournament at some point.

The Knights have lots of great talent in their upcoming classes and one player I'm looking forward to watching is freshman RB/ATH [player_tooltip player_id='487757' first='Dallas' last='Washington']. I can definitely see Dallas getting varsity time at either running back or defensive back. He was a monster on the Knight's freshman team, displaying a knack for breaking off big runs and using his vision to find open lanes. Washington is a player that already shows the skillset to be a top prospect, now I'm just waiting to see his development over the summer.

The Westside Class of '26 is loaded with several players looking to make a push on the varsity rotation. One player to watch is [player_tooltip player_id='487559' first='Owen' last='James'] who was a standout player on both sides of the trenches. In the few clips I watched, he displayed a quick first step and strong hands. He's a great athlete that plays with a lot of physicality, even lining up at fullback on a few plays and leveling defenders with his blocks. Massive potential!
