He does a good job blocking downfield on run plays and never takes a snap off. Price is a good athlete who can get out in space and pancake defensive backs. He can also place defensive linemen on their buts with his impressive leg drive and physical fist punch. When on the move in the open field, Price does a great job locating defensive backs and takes good angles to remove them from the play. In addition to his tremendous run blocking, he's also a strong blindside protector in pass pro.

He's quick out of his stance and keeps his hands inside when battling with defenders. Tongolei fires off the snap low and displays a good leg drive. He can be relied upon to get a push in short-yardage and goal-line situations. Tongolei is also a good puller who keeps a tight path to the line and hits like a freight train. He meets edge rushers with a strong first punch in pass protection and slides his feet well. Tongolei plays both ways and doesn't take a snap off. He should be in for an outstanding senior season with the Cougars.
