Referenced below are the Northwest's Top 50 athletes for the 2026 class. As most know there is always a lot yet to be determined when ranking freshman. Have a look at the current group with 11 individuals already holding division 1 offers.     [player_tooltip player_id='769925' first='Oliver' last='Luebkert'] racked up 2nd team all Metro honors as a freshman. Something rarely done at the 6A level. Look for him to be one of the top receivers in the state for his class. [player_tooltip player_id='769988' first='Taesean' last='Tarusan'] is a big piece of the future for Sheldon, looking the part on the 7v7 circuit.   A few D lineman to keep an eye on include Washington standouts [player_tooltip player_id='726158' first='Apela' last='Sarte'] and Anthony Manacao, who both did well as freshman earning all conference honors, while puting up some decent numbers. Fellow DL [player_tooltip player_id='769990' first='Lamar' last='Stewart'] was a huge bright sport for Jefferson HS out of Portland, ending up as a 2nd team all PIL selection.   Two freshman backs to make note of include [player_tooltip player_id='769989' first='Viggo' last='Anderson'] of top ranked West Linn and [player_tooltip player_id='726168' first='Keshawn' last='Hines'] of Mount Tahoma. Viggo went down early in the year with an injury but dominated his peers, with Hines getting 40+ carries and scoring 2 TDs at the Varsity level.   The 2026 class is deep when it comes to QBs. Both Washington quarterbacks started as freshman at the Varsity level, with [player_tooltip player_id='402792' first='Legend' last='Galeai'] of Lakes being an all conference selection and [player_tooltip player_id='726166' first='Nolan' last='Wright'] of Sehome doing well. Three Oregon guys who have the ability to start next year for good teams include [player_tooltip player_id='284120' first='Drew' last='Weiler'] of Lakeridge, [player_tooltip player_id='402409' first='Hudson' last='Kurland'] of Sunset, and [player_tooltip player_id='402407' first='Dylan' last='Brower'] of Clackamas.   Other top Oregon LB's include [player_tooltip player_id='402422' first='Rowen' last='Lewis'] of Jesuit, [player_tooltip player_id='769991' first='Yahkyll' last='Noil'] of Lakeridge, and [player_tooltip player_id='402410' first='Isaac' last='Reynoso'] of Glencoe. ALL of whom come from impressive families with D1 genes. In summary the top 50 is a legit group with a ton of potential.
