One of the top young safety prospects in the Midwest in his class. Jefferson is a tough, physical defender who can really run, cover and hit. His cover skills and speed translate well to 7v7 ball for Team Flight. He is already a smart young player who does a nice job making reads and getting to the right spot as a play unfolds. It’s no wonder he has picked up early offers from Marshall, Northern Iowa and Eastern Kentucky, with many other schools watching him and certainly to increase their recruitment of him.
Tyron Steed

Cardinal Ritter | 2025

| 6’2″ 175 | DB | Cardinal Ritter |
Another top defensive back prospect who is already getting college attention and offers who plays for Team Takeover. Steed plays older then his age and uses his speed and athleticism to make plays and shut down receivers. He can cover a lot of ground and is another physically defender with good ball skills. He had a tremendous sophomore season in helping lead his Lions to their first state championship, and his efforts were rewarded with multiple D1 offers already from the likes of Ole Miss, West Virginia, Louisville, Marshall and Central Michigan. He is a name that will continue to draw attraction from P5 schools nationally.
Gionni McBride | 6’2″ 175 | CB | North Kansas City |
While he hasn’t picked up any D1 offers yet it looks like this long, athletic and fast big cornerback is one to watch heading into the spring, summer and 2023 season as a defensive back who can be among the next wave of joining players like Steed and Jefferson in landing offers. McBride has very good speed to go with his length and ball skills as a pass defender. He has long arms and quick hands and his size helps him to lock down receivers with his Epic 7 Midwest team.
Kishon Hill | 6’4″ 185 | QB | Lift For Life |
One of the top young quarterbacks I had the chance to watch this past weekend was the talented Hill. I’ve watched Kishon since he was an 8th grader who was more of an athlete grow and develop into a nice looking QB with some great potential to get better. He did a nice job in leading his Elite Speed squad to be the runners up in the championship game against the 18U Elite Speed winners. Kishon has good size and is athletic. He showed good ability to see the field and find the open man, and deliver the ball with good velocity. He also seem to have a nice touch on his passes and pretty good ball placement.
Messiah Smith

Smith
5'10" | 155 lbs | RB
Parkway North | 2025
State
MO
| 5’9″ 165 | RB | Parkway North |
One of the top running backs in his class in the state the past two years plays for Team Flight is Smith, who while primarily a rushing weapon for his high school team in rushing for over 900 yards and 5 TDs as part of a 3-headed rushing attack, shows nice pass catching ability with his 7v7 prospect, which will help his value to colleges who will undoubtedly be taking a look at him over the next two years. Smith has good speed and is very good athlete overall who has some nice shiftiness to him with the ball in his hands and after the catch. He’s a prospect to watch for having a breakout season in 2023
