(QB) Brian Rager Brian Rager 6'3" | 200 lbs | QB Liberty Creek | 2024 State TN – Liberty Creek (TN) – TN Stars
– Throughout the two day weekend down in Murfreesboro, Rager was one of the more accurate and efficient quarterbacks on hand, showing a calm, cool demeanor while proving to me that he has progressed with his game. Rager is every bit of 6 ‘4 with a nice frame and mobility, so this Mid-Tennessee prospect is definitely someone to watch moving forward.
(QB) Elisha Nieves Elisha Nieves 6'4" | 190 lbs | QB Centennial | 2024 TN – Centennial (TN) – Mid-TN Wolfpack
– While the Wolfpack didn’t perform up to their capabilities last weekend, Nieves was one guy who played a consistent brand of football. This senior 6’4 passer flashed big throws on several occasions at Blackman High School, producing multiple touchdowns while also placing the ball into tight windows.
(QB) Nick Brown Nick Brown 6'1" | 180 lbs | QB Mt. Pleasant | 2024 State TN – Mt. Pleasant (TN) – TN Savages
– Brown had some ups and downs during the Music City Mayhem but overall, the Tigers senior signal caller showed flashes of strong potential, especially his mechanics and ability to place the ball into small windows. You can see the upside within the arm of this Mid-Tennessee quarterback and why he might eventually become an FCS level recruit.
(RB/DB) Cam Davis Cam Davis 6'0" | 200 lbs | RB Westview | 2024 State TN – Westview (TN) – Phenom Supreme
– Versatility was the key thing shown for Davis last weekend at the PRZ 7v7 Tourney where he lined up in the slot, bringing a physical presence on offense while also playing the same kind of brand of football on defense at safety. This is an athletic, well built young man that continued to push his stock forward.
‘25 (RB) Mason Bryant Mason Bryant 5'8" | 175 lbs | ATH Father Ryan | 2025 State TN – Father Ryan (TN) – TN Savages
– A two-way talent for his Fighting Irish and Savages team, Bryant stood out for me the most on offense where he was a nice safety valve for his quarterback and someone that can catch down the field. Going into his junior season, Bryant has the look of a key piece for Father Ryan this year, possibly starting on both sides of the ball.

(LB) Caden Marshall Caden Marshall 6'2" | 210 lbs | LB Henry Co. | 2024 State TN – Henry Co. (TN) – Phenom Supreme
– Not only does Marshall look the part of a college linebacker but he moves like one too as he proved that last weekend, showing the ability to drop in coverage and chase down receivers sideline to sideline. This is an intriguing talent as Marshall is just coming into his own with his best football ahead of him.
(LB) D.J. Curll D.J. Curll 6'2" | 205 lbs | LB Centennial | 2024 State TN – Centennial (TN) – Mid-TN Wolfpack
– Coming off an injured junior year, Curll has been on a mission this offseason to show that he is ready for a big senior season and his performance at the PRZ 7v7 Tourney is proving just that. During Day One action, Curll hauled in multiple touchdowns catches on offense then proceeded to make several stops on defense. He also showed the ability to run and cover 15 to 20 yards down field, against some bigger tight ends.
‘25 (LB) Sam Haley Sam Haley 6'4" | 215 lbs | LB Ensworth | 2025 State TN – Ensworth (TN) – TN Savages
– The future is very bright for this Mid-Tennessee linebacker who has size, smarts and strong maturity towards life and football. Haley is a big guy who has two years of high school play left who showed last weekend the ability to drop in coverage, making plays on the ball while also contributing on offense, using his strong hands at tight end.
‘26 (LB/S) Ethan Johnson Ethan Johnson 5'11" | 200 lbs | LB Christian Brothers | 2025 TN – Chrst. Brothers (TN) – 901 Phenom
– The Phenom showed brillant defensive play throughout the tournament last weekend and Johnson was a big reason for that. The Purple Wave junior picked off multiple passes throughout the tourney while also providing some offense as well. A bigger role should be in line for Johnson this year and if he plays like he did in Murfreesboro, a starter for the Purple Wave he will be.

(DB) Thomas Jones Thomas Jones 5'11" | 175 lbs | DB Smyrna | 2024 State TN – Smyrna (TN) – TN Select
– Jones was only able to play on Sunday but he definitely made his presence felt, picking off one pass while putting himself in contention for several others on multiple occasions. The Bulldogs senior defender showed nice quickness and reactionary skills towards the ball while not backing away from being physical when the time called for it.
(S) Cody Williamson Cody Williamson 5'11" | 185 lbs | DB Centennial | 2024 TN – Centennial (TN) – Mid-TN Wolfpack
– This dude was an absolute ball hawk last weekend in the Boro as Williamson picked off three passes while breaking up several others. The PRZ 7v7 Tourney was the 1st action of the offseason for this Mid-Tennessee safety and he more than impressed, he boosted his stock as a college recruit.
(Ath) Micah Threatt Micah Threatt 6'1" | 185 lbs | ATH Shelbyville Central | 2024 State TN – Shelbyville Central (TN) – 931 Mafia
– This guy impressed me just about as much as anyone last weekend as Threat was Mr. Everything for his 931 Mafia team and someone that showed the potential to play on the collegiate level. He is a well built young man with great physical traits and versatility. Threatt could play a variety of roles in college, which should make him very appealing to college coaches.
‘25 (Ath) J.B. Ellis – Springfield (TN) – DSP Elite
– Ellis was a talent that I didn’t know too much about heading into the PRZ 7v7 tourney but is certainly someone on my radar now after an impressive weekend of play where he was one of the best two-way performers. This Mid-Tennessee product has nice size, arm length and the athletic traits to develop at either receiver or safety.
‘25 (Ath) Dylan Mitchell – Liberty Creek (TN) – TN Stars
– Mitchell was a feisty competitor throughout both days of action in Murfreesboro, providing his Stars team with a speed threat on the outside and an aggressive cover guy on defense at cornerback. This guy is best suited for the slot receiver position moving forward as Mitchell has nice quickness with good feet, showing his ability to get in and out of his breaks.
