Earlier this year in the spring season, Marshall began to turn heads and make a name for himself in camp season then he proceeded to continue that strong play during the Fall football season. The Patriots senior two-way talent does play QB for his team but myself and collegiate coaches view this 6’2 205 pound athlete as a linebacker that brings versatility to the defensive side of the ball. Marshall is a good athlete with height, length and good foot speed to either play the edge or work the middle against the run. He shows on film explosive flashes where he darts to the ball with quickness, displaying excellent range and violent hitting. His athleticism also allows him to drop into coverage and work well against the pass. Marshall still has some learning and growing to do but the tools and upside are there to develop into a serviceable college linebacker. Senior Film

This off-season has been very kind to this Mid-Tennessee linebacker as Marshall fully transitioned into his linebacker role and saw his recruitment explode. His stock has continued to rise this summer as the Patriots senior backer has obtained multiple offers after several strong camp performances. Still waiting on that first D1 opportunity to arrive, Marshall has recently landed offers from Eastern Illinois, Lindenwood and UT-Martin while picking up interest from several others. Part of the surge of interest and offers for Marshall is due to his size and natural athletic abilities that could play up at either inside or outside linebacker. Plenty of time is remaining for Marshall to hit the camp scene and keep earning offers but I think it will be his senior season that could take his stock to another level and bring in bigger offers.

This Henry Co. linebacker has been picking up steam on the recruiting trail for a little while now and those offers started to come through making Marshall a hot commodity that will only continue to rake in the interest as the next few months roll along. The reason this Mid-Tennessee product has been gaining interest is due to his size, athletic upside and ability to play multiple linebacker roles. Marshall is a fluid mover that shows strong instincts on film and the ability to chase the ball down from sideline to sideline. His performance during summer camp season will go a long way in growing his recruiting stock even further.
