Wesson Gannon, QB, Sacred Heart, 2027
Gannon is one of the smoothest young quarterbacks I have ever seen. This young man knows how to put the football where it needs to be. He is very cool when he is on the field. He doesn’t get rattled much, and he does not make a lot of mistakes. Gannon has a strong arm that fits the ball in some tough places. He even played defense for his team. He was a ball hawk at safety. Some of the interceptions he made this weekend were very hard. Keep up with this young man.
Bishop Stallings, ATH, Ensworth, 2027
Stallings is a guy who gets behind defensive backs with ease. He also adjusts to the ball very well. He has a wide range that quarterbacks can throw to for completions. Stallings is going to find a way, and make a play. He was a big target for his team this weekend. Stallings also is in very nice shape. You can see this young man is going to be a top prospect one day soon.
Braden Burk, WR, Owensboro, 2027
Burk was a beast this weekend. He did a great job against some of the best defensive backs playing this weekend. Burk is a jump ball specialist. I think we could possibly see this young man playing safety when he gets to high school. I love the way that he goes up and gets the football. He has some very good athleticism. Burk is a confident player that always wants the football. He is a guy that I will be sure to keep up with.
Braydon Wilkes, 2027, ATH
Wilkes was out there balling. He looks like a defensive tackle playing tight end. I do think that he is going to be a defensive tackle. He has very good height with some very stocky legs. I think that with his athleticism he can be a problem at defensive line. Wilkes knows how to run the routes. He makes an easy target for his quarterback to deliver the ball. Wilkes has some very soft hands with good feet. He is a guy that I can’t wait to watch again.
Jaylen Griffin, ATH, 2027
Griffin was another guy who was very good at running routes. He was a ball hawk for his team this weekend. He also played great on defense. I think that Griffin is going to be a defensive back when it is all said and done. He was one of my favorite players from this weekend. He has a very nice build as well. Griffin looks like a baller. He definitely steps up to the action when his team needs him. Griffin was effective on offense as well. He is a stud.
