March Update: 2024 Linebackers

He is a linebacker that had terrific speed and has used it well to make plays behind the line of scrimmage. Huff has no trouble dropping back into coverage and covering the tight end or the running backs. Huff affects the passing game with his coverage skills but he also has the ability to pressure and sack the quarterback. The recruiting battle for Huff over the next few months is going to be interesting with numerous SEC schools in the mix.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='352887' first='Derrick' last='Murdock']-Little Rock Mills-6'0” 205-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Last season, [player_tooltip player_id='352887' first='Derrick' last='Murdock'] exploded onto the scene and terrorized opposing quarterbacks in the process. In 2022, Murdock used his speed well to defeat blocks and get into the opposing offensive backfield. He is a linebacker that can disrupt the passing game by hitting the quarterback. Meanwhile, Murdock does an impressive job of bringing down the running back. Missouri State has shown interest in the talented linebacker and I look for Murdock to have another impressive season in 2023.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='149579' first='Dax' last='Goff']-Booneville-6'1” 215-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='149579' first='Dax' last='Goff'] is one of the most versatile prospects in the state of Arkansas. Goff is a nightmare to bring down when he is running the ball for the Bearcats. Meanwhile, on the defensive side of the ball, Goff has the ability to disrupt plays in the offensive backfield. Goff can rush the passer and does so effectively. He is a linebacker that has no trouble dropping back into coverage and defending the pass. Laurent explodes to the ball carrier and does an impressive job of wrapping up the ball carrier. He uses his speed well to defeat blocks and get into the opposing offensive backfield. Laurent possess strong versatility and can play the linebacker or safety position. He has a high motor and looks to be in on every tackle. He is always around the football and works to be in on every tackle. Davis has the ability to drop back into coverage and disrupt the passing game through his coverage ability. Meanwhile, he has shown that he is another linebacker that has no problem pressuring the opposing quarterback. Davis is at his best when he is completely disrupting the opposing offensive backfield. Memphis is taking a look at the talented Little Rock Christian linebacker and he is certainly a player to watch in 2023.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
