These are players who should without a doubt be followed and kept up with for the summer, as well as next season because they all leave it out of the field!
James Klinberg
James Klinberg
Klinberg is a technically sound end who maintains the edge and generates pressure for his team. He shows very good strength, locking his arms out and pressing base blocks to maintain gap responsibility. Klinberg also shows the athletic ability to elude blockers with side steps and quick inside moves in order to get into the backfield. His ability to shed blocks also stands out on film. Klinberg gets himself free and locates the ball, and makes impactful plays for his team. Make sure to put Klinberg on the list of players to keep an eye on.
Robert Jones
Robert Jones
Jones is a man on a mission when in pursuit of the ball. He shows a great motor and speed when running flat down the line of scrimmage from the back side. Jones continuously made chase down plays, getting by his blocker and not giving up on downs. He possesses quick hands with a strong punch, and a very good swim move that he uses to get by blocks with ease. Jones has the power to stun tackles and pairs it with quick feet to get around the edge. He is a promising player who can surprise some people next season.
Eduwa Okundaye
Eduwa Okundaye
Quick with a relentless pursuit, Okundaye is a very disruptive player on the edge. He shows excellent extension of his arms when engaged with blocks and disengages with physicality, locating the ball and working to it. Okundaye reads and reacts very quickly which stands out on film. Presses the block, peaks, and pursues. Okundaye is a player who will be gaining traction very soon from his play.
Thomas’s long frame and closing speed makes him a problem for opposing teams. He is a versatile player, being able to line up on the edge or even off ball and drop back into coverage, playing comfortably in space. He is strong at the point of attack, with a powerful punch, and does an excellent job of making himself skinny getting through gaps. Thomas has an strong all around game. His speed, power, and length makes him a very intriguing player. He is racking up the offers and still has more to show so keep eyes out for him next season.

Malik Slone
Malik Slone
Slone has a quick first step and get off which gives him a great advantage over opposing tackles. He has the speed to get around the edge effortlessly and gets his shoulders turned to work to the quarterback. Slone uses his hands very well to get by blocks and shows good closing speed on his way to the ball. Slone shoots gaps with tremendous burst and physicality to make big plays in the backfield. His play on the field deserves some shine because what he does should not go unnoticed. His senior year should be a promising one.
Cody Ford
Cody Ford
Ford plays a physical game with a great burst off of the edge. When he gets a good jump, its game over. He is finding his way into the backfield and is punishing the ball carrier. Ford has a strong punch to knock tackles off balance and continues to his power by driving them back. He gets free from blocks using great strength and shows very good pursuit to the ball. His aggressive playstyle is contagious to the team and his film is very impressive.
