Palmetto Combine West will no doubt feature a ton of playmakers. Among the most intriguing are five RBs who are already well-established and who have breakout seasons under their belts. With thousands of yards, dozens of touchdowns, and plenty of big plays among them, here are five RBs we can’t wait to watch.
Dashun Reeder Dashun Reeder 5'10" | 175 lbs | RB Christ Church | 2024 State SC , Christ Church
Reeder’s the engine that makes the defending state champions’ offense go. He can provide power inside, has the speed to get outside, and has good hands out of the backfield. He rushed for more than 2,100 yards and had 42 touchdowns on the ground, adding a receiving score and providing more than 17 points per game.
Kalvin Banks Kalvin Banks 5'9" | 170 lbs | RB Eastside | 2024 State SC , Eastside
Banks isn’t the biggest back you’ll find, but he’s both faster and more physical than he looks. He’s got plenty of speed, and he’s able to finish runs with physical play as well. He rushed for more than 1,500 yards for the Eagles last season, and has just scratched the surface.
Traevon Dunbar Traevon Dunbar 5'10" | 205 lbs | RB Midland Valley | 2024 State SC , Midland Valley
It doesn’t take much film study to see why Dunbar is drawing a ton of Division I interest. He’s the total package. Dunbar buries blitzers. He knifes through defenses with great vision. He runs away from tacklers, and he runs over them as well. With an even bigger offensive role in store, the sky’s the limit.
Marquise Henderson Marquise Henderson 5'10" | 170 lbs | RB Belton-Honea Path | 2025 State SC , Belton-Honea Path
The Bears run it, and run it some more, and Henderson led the way in his sophomore season. On a team that featured four guys who rushed for more than 550 yards, Henderson doubled that, going for more than 1,200. He scored 20 total touchdowns, and shows the ability to pick up yards after contact, fighting through tacklers and using his speed to break away.
LaDainnian Martin LaDainnian Martin 5'10" | 175 lbs | RB JL Mann | 2025 State SC , Greer
Martin is a true speedster, and used his wheels to lead Greer. The Region II-4A Player of the Year, Martin rushed for more than 1,200 yards and scored 19 touchdowns.
