Martinez is one of the better passers across the western region in the 2025 class and has impressed this off-season at multiple events, and showed some impressive arm talent in Vegas at the National Preps National Combine. He is a well built together kid with a strong pocket presence, good arm strength and can zip it into tight windows downfield, while moving defenders with his eyes and throwing his receivers open on deeper throws. He shows solid pocket mobility and excels at throwing on the run while not losing zip on the ball when throwing across his body. Martinez should see his stock continue to rise and has been a regular top passer at each event he has been at this off-season.
Highlights
Byington is another impressive bruising runner in the 2024 class and put together a solid Junior campaign for the state title runner-ups. He is tough to tackle in-between the tackles and smooth through the hole with natural forward lean and leg drive through contact while looking for contact in the hole. Out of the backfield, he is a natural pass catcher that can adjust to the ball from various body angles and turns upfield quickly while showing good body control and short area twitch. He is in line for a monster senior season and one of the more balanced backs Idaho has to offer.
West-Baranco is one of the more under-rated recruits Idaho has to offer and has great length and range/catch radius for the outside receiver position at the college level. He is a true vertical threat that can win on 50/50 balls and shows high-point ability and strong hands in traffic while able to adjust to the ball in the air seamlessly. He shows that he can get off press coverage and gets into defenders blind spots underneath while able to run both in-breaking and outbreaking routes downfield. A true mismatch nightmare on the outside, he is a no brainer Division I caliber kid and should be closing in on his first offer soon.
