Jourdin Houston Jourdin Houston 6’1″ | 190 lbs | WR St. Thomas More | 2025 State NewE He is ranked as the #1 class of 2025 wide receiver in Connecticut and also the #2 ranked wide receiver in the New England region. He attends St. Thomas More H.S. in Connecticut.
He has the talent to stretch the field with his high level speed and be a home run threat. Has secure reliable hands and will high top the ball when needed. He is a exceptional and experienced route runner who can get separation from defenders. Shows the desire to compete. His YAC is impressive and a consistent effort is given each time he is targeted.
A surefire Div 1 recruit with a very high ceiling. He currently holds multiple offers that include Div 1 power 5 schools. He will see additional interest during the Spring/April evaluation period.
He has recently reclassified into the class of 2025 and will attend Chesire Academy in fall 2023. He is ranked as the #2 class of 2025 wide receiver in Connecticut and also the #4 ranked wide receiver in the New England region. He attends Chesire Academy in Connecticut.
He runs very crisp routs that allows him to get separation. He has long strides that cover a lot of ground quickly. He has length in his arms and legs. He displays good body control with balance, and ability to make the difficult back shoulder catches. He consistently high tops the ball when targeted and needed. Solids hands are visible.
He recently got his 1st offer from Univ of Maryland on 3/24/23. Has a high ceiling for this young man and should see additional Div 1 college attention during the upcoming 2023 April/Spring evaluation period.

Displays good hand and eye coordination. Has good body control and balance that allows him to make the difficult back shoulder catches. Has a high level catching ability, play speed and tempo seen in his skill set. Has the willingness to be an effective blocker on the perimeter. Catches with his hands. Doesn’t allow the ball to come to him. Goes up to go get it at the highest point.
He had a breakout season in 2022 that should ignite his recruitment interest moving forward. He should see his interest begin to pick up during the April/Spring evaluation period and through college summer camp season.
Shane Walker Shane Walker 5’11” | 165 lbs | WR Masuk | 2025 State NewE He is ranked as the #4 class of 2025 wide receiver in Connecticut and also the #13 ranked wide receiver in the New England region. He attends Masuk H.S. in Connecticut.
He knows how to get off man press and get separation. Catches with his hands in front or at the highest point when targeted. Knows how to find the soft spot in zone coverages. He competes at a high level every play and through the whole play. He can bend with excellent body control and balance to make the difficult catches.
Derrick Scott Jr. Derrick Scott Jr. 6’2″ | 185 lbs | WR Brookfield | 2025 State NewE He is ranked as the #5 class of 2025 wide receiver in Connecticut and also the #14 ranked wide receiver in the New England region. He attends Brookfield H.S. in Connecticut.
Displays good range in his frame with length. His catch radius and body control are impressive and at a high level. He confirms that he still can play ball even with a DB that is taught how to manipulate his route with a consistent effort. His hands and catching ability, play speed and tempo are high quality. Has the ability to separate with dependability, and playmaking abilities.
He is viewed as a sleeper right now and I expect he will see his recruitment begin to pick up moving forward and through the 2023 summer college camp season.
