The first weekend of March brings with it plenty of football news taking place in performance camps, combines, and 7-on-7 tournaments and practices. We have news coming from all over the place this week. Who made the big plays and who has impressed? Will both be answered in this week's article. This article will become a weekly feature over the next few weeks and will allow us to stay update on the prospects coming up through the ranks.

[player_tooltip player_id='612846' first='Cash' last='Farris'] is a prospect in the secondary that scouts are going to one to keep an eye on over the next couple of seasons. Farris is a safety that reads the quarterback extremely well. He is rarely caught out of position and does a good job of making plays on the ball. Farris has the speed to play safety or cornerback position. I am impressed with how quickly he pursues and hauls down the ball carrier. Farris earned all-conference honors last season and I expect him to continue to raise his game. Look for him to light up Friday nights this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='619674' first='Tyler' last='Galloway']-Hot Springs Lakeside-Wide Receiver-5'8” 132-Pounds-2027

Hot Springs Lakeside does an impressive job of producing talented players at the skill positions and that statement is true regarding [player_tooltip player_id='619674' first='Tyler' last='Galloway']. Galloway runs smooth routes and creates separation through his route running and speed combination. He has a knack for making the tough receptions look easy. Galloway is opening plenty of eyes on the 7-on-7 circuit and I look for that trend to continue into this upcoming season. He has the potential to light up Friday nights over the next few seasons and is a prospect to watch out for.

[player_tooltip player_id='377020' first='Braxton' last='Lindsey']-Rogers-Athlete-2026-6'1” 195-Pounds

[player_tooltip player_id='377020' first='Braxton' last='Lindsey'] continues to open plenty of eyes with his versatility and athleticism. On the defensive side of the ball, Lindsey is a linebacker that uses his speed well to get in on every tackle. Meanwhile, on the offensive side of the ball he has put on display impressive speed and good route running capability. Lindsey is a prospect that folks are going to want to pay attention to over the next few months. The Mounties could potentially line up Lindsey all over the field this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='594778' first='Slade' last='Norwood']-Farmingotn-Quarterback-2027

The Farmington signal caller put on an impressive display at the Quarterback Universe Camp in Saint Louis over the weekend. Norwood displays an accurate arm that can connect on the deep balls. He has no trouble throwing on the run and keeping his eyes down the field to make the throw. Norwood's arm strength is impressive, and he has the potential open plenty of eyes on Friday nights over the next few seasons. Norwood continued a strong offseason by earning second runner up honors at the Quarterback Universe camp over the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='193040' first='Graycen' last='Cash']-Rogers-Wide Receiver-6'3” 175-Pounds-2024

The Rogers wide receiving corps is going to be difficult to contend with this upcoming season. Cash has the athleticism to go up and high point the football. Cash has good speed and uses it and smooth routes to create separation from opposing defensive backs. The Rogers wide receiver had a strong 2022 season and I expect that trend to continue this upcoming season. Cash is another prospect to watch out for on the 7-on-7 circuit as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='228033' first='Tayshawn' last='Edwards']-Warren-Wide Receiver-5'8” 150-Pounds-2027

Over the past few weeks, Edwards has put on a show at several 7-on-7 competitions. Edwards has already earned a scholarship offer from Ole Miss and has the potential to rack more over the next few months. He has impressive speed and can run the deep and intermediate routes with impressive precision. Warren always has talent at the receiving corps and [player_tooltip player_id='228033' first='Tayshawn' last='Edwards'] has the potential to play on Saturdays in the future. However, before he can play on Saturdays he is going to get a chance to shine on Friday nights in the not too distant future.
