2028 RANKINGS UPDATE: The Athletes

<p><strong>POST-SEASON UPDATE:</strong> We have officially released a new set of rankings for the class of 2028 in Arkansas. In this article, we will showcase the 2028 athletes with analysis. Over the next month, I will break down these rankings by position within each class, as well as other relevant segments. For the athletes, I will provide you with evaluations of some of the top prospects and the players flying under the radar:</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1325893' first='Brendan' last='Hill'] adds to a talented defensive line group for Bryant, who can play multiple spots. He plays on both sides of the trenches with solid quickness off the snap. Defensively, he can pressure the pocket with a bull rush. He's on our breakout watch for 2026. He can play both wide receiver and defensive back. He's quick with the footwork to jab and win against press-man. Lewis demonstrates smooth route-running skills and has a strong understanding of zone coverage, allowing him to exploit weak spots. Overall, he displays solid body control, hand-eye coordination, and ball tracking. He can play both running back and wide receiver. Jackson can evade early penetration due to his patience, solid change of direction, lateral quickness, and burst. McGlone is a solid route runner with the potential to be a YAC threat. He showcases solid hand-eye coordination and body control, allowing him to make adjustments mid-route. He was tied 1st in interceptions this year (7). Hamm plays tight coverage, showcasing his ability to transition smoothly and contest the catch point, racking up 11 PBUs.
