He is good at hitting the hole and finding cutback lanes or bouncing it to the outside. He is not a tall back but shows toughness when blocking or lowering his shoulder to get those extra yards. Had some break out games this past season but will be looking to have those type of game more frequently this year. He runs with power, running players over when they get in the way and will turn on the jets to pull away from players once he gets past the first initial wave of defenders. He is a player that if he gets to the edge and is able to turn it into a foot race you will not catch him. He has a perfect balance of power and speed that makes him dangerous as a runner. He shows time and time again his explosiveness to be a home run threat whenever he touches the ball. He also shows good hands out of the backfield and can make some things happen in the passing game. He is good at setting up his blocks and making the most out of his opportunities. He is a shifty back that is able to make players miss in the open field and can use his speed to pick up extra yardage. He is a back that can run between the tackles and can be a back that is a thumper. He has good vision and is able to navigate through traffic, finding cutback lanes. He is a back that is sneaky quick and can bounce it to the perimeter and outrun some players at times. He is a three down back and is able to pass block well, picking up defenders and holding his blocks. He is also a player that can be used on special teams so I believe his game transitions very well at the next level. His vision to see the cutback lane and then turning on the jets up get to the perimeter and score is something that he excels at. He hits the hole quickly and is hard to bring down when he gets to the second and third level. He is shifty when in the hole, getting skinny and putting a spin move or a quick cut on the defender to leave them behind. I think Chatila will be one of the top backs in 5A this season and has a high ceiling when you watch him on tape.
