#75 Greg k Greg k 6'3" | 225 lbs | OL Portarthern | 2026 MI | Portage Northern | Hudl
Patrick does a great job of extending his arms out and getting his hands inside defenders so he can control them and not let them get around him. Patrick has good size and good arm length. Patrick down blocks very well and does a great job of driving defenders out of the play. Patrick is a good athlete who can get to the second level and block linebackers. I love his competitiveness and you can tell that he took pride in making sure his blocks were executed. Patrick will be a key piece to the Portage Northern offense next year in 2023.
#70 Ben Nichols Ben Nichols 6'6" | 325 lbs | OL Davison | 2026 State MI | Davison | Hudl
Nichols moves very well at 6-5, 295 lbs. He does a good job of pulling and getting in front of a defender. Nichols has very good play strength and uses his overall strength and leverage to drive defenders back and then finish by taking them to the ground. Davison made an emphasis to run towards Nichol’s side. His dominant run blocking was critical in the success of Davison’s run game. I got to watch Nichols at a showcase in December. He is a very good player I believe he will continue to improve.
#58 Eli Macauley Eli Macauley 6'2" | 260 lbs | OL Forest Hills Northern | 2026 State MI | Forest Hills Northern | Hudl
Maculey is very strong and does a great job of taking on defenders who try to bull-rush him. His overall strength allows him to absorb the bull rush and hold his ground. He is a dominant run blocker who excels as a gap scheme blocker. Macauley’s tape is very impressive and he had numerous plays where he drove a defender completely out of the play. Macauley is quick to react and does a great job of blocking defenders who try to get around him with their quickness. Macualey’s tape is very impressive and Forest Hills Northern should be very excited that this guy will take the field for them in 2023.
#75 Khalief Canty Khalief Canty 6'5" | 305 lbs | OL Cass Tech | 2026 State MI Jr. | Cass Tech | Hudl
Canty has the ideal size for the offensive tackle position at 6-5, 305 lbs. Canty’s size and strength make it tough for defenders to get around him. Like the other guys I have talked about Canty has good overall strength. Canty is very competitive and will finish blocks. I like that he is always looking for someone to block. Canty is a good pass blocker and does a great job of working to stay in front of defenders. Canty has an impressive play on his highlights where he blocks multiple defenders. These are plays you love to see and they are so valuable to offenses. Canty is a very good football player and he is a guy who has a very bright future. I look forward to seeing him play next year in 2023.
